About this property

Cute 2-bed home, 3 blocks from downtown Bozeman, with a large yard!

Alpine Cottage is a cozy, quiet retreat in the heart of Bozeman, ideal for your Montana stay. Enjoy the spacious yard with a picnic table and grill under the Big Sky. Historic downtown Main Street is just a 3-block walk away, filled with coffee shops, boutiques, and art galleries. Adventure awaits with skiing at Bridger Bowl (25 min) or Big Sky (50 min), exploring Yellowstone National Park (1.5 hrs), and local trails (10 min) for hiking and running. The owner occupies the basement apartment, accessed from the back, but there are no shared spaces, and he is gone about 80% of the year.

Managed by Bozeman Cottage Vacation Rentals, the cottage has been fully remodeled, featuring new beds, linens, kitchen, bathroom, and a beautiful shower. The modern kitchen, open to the living room, includes butcher block countertops, a gas stove, dishwasher, and stainless steel cookware. The back door leads to a private, fenced yard with a picnic table and grill, perfect for relaxing after exploring.

Discover downtown’s pubs, eateries, and shops just around the corner. Montana State University is a five-minute bike ride, drive, or thirty-minute walk away. The fenced yard securely hides parked bikes. Guests will love the convenient location and quiet neighborhood, especially at night. Bridger Canyon, ten miles north, offers stunning hikes and famous wildflowers, plus Bridger Bowl ski resort.

Alpine Cottage is equipped with a coffee maker, grinder, local coffee starter pack, linens, and cooking essentials. We share local info on Montana meat, organic produce, hiking trails, rafting options, and restaurant coupons, supporting local businesses.

Lovely home. Met our needs while staying in Bozeman. Great location to downtown and easy access to surrounding sights. Easy to walk around exploring town and felt safe. Made think we can downsize to a home this size.

Nice spot

Great location. We walked into downtown most nights for dinner. Clean and well maintained rustic house. Nice porch out front. We didn’t utilize the backyard area. It wasn’t inviting and the stairs to get there were sketchy. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I work in medicine but also own a permaculture educational farm just north of Bozeman.

Why they chose this property

I like to be able to walk out the door and sit by Bridger Creek, along the trails that border this subdivision. Plus I can ride my bike to town or to the local swimming beach. I don't golf but there is a great course right across the street.

I was able to buy this townhouse and finish it just how I have always wanted. It's built to last and equipped with top of the line appliances and furnishings. It has radiant floor heat which is the only way to go in Montana winters, plus it is well insulated and has high ceilings with great light.

What makes this property unique

This cozy, freshly remodeled 2-bedroom, 1-bath house sleeps 4 in Bozeman's oldest neighborhoods. It is kid-friendly with a fenced yard, quiet street, and nice front porch.
