We had a really great 1 night stay in Olivia’s property. The best thing about it is the location in relation to The O2 Arena. It’s a 10 minute walk from the arena which, when seeing the queue for the tube upon leaving, made us feel very lucky for not requiring any transport to get back!
The apartment is spacious, modern, nicely decorated and has a lovely balcony which was a great add-on. It wasn’t the most quiet place I’ve ever stayed due to building works being completed on the new apartment block adjacent, but this didn’t really bother us.
I’m not giving it 5 stars for a few small reasons that, whilst they didn’t affect our stay, I believe a 5 star property would/wouldn’t include these things.
1. Electric blinds with no instructions on how to use them so we couldn’t close/open certain blinds, even after trying to work it out ourselves.
2. No shower gel in the bathrooms. Whilst small, hotel style soaps were included, shower gel is always a nice touch.
3. There was a small soap that had already been used by who we presumed would be the previous guests, left in one of the shower shelves.
4. There was a pizza left in the freezer.
5. All the amenities to make hot drinks but no milk.
Overall, for a 1 night stay for the convenience of an event at The O2, it was pretty fab and I’d definitely rebook for any future events!
