Our experience did not meet the expectations set by the property's listing photos or the host's description. During our stay, we observed insects, some of which appeared to us to be roaches. We reported this concern to the host and to Vrbo, and provided Vrbo with images of the insects.

They’re seasonal water bugs called palmetto. They are not roaches and they unfortunately get into every home around this time and later. Sorry a bug spoiled your stay. Good luck

Great location and super close to beach access

Plenty of room for the whole family and a nice private fenced in backyard. Only a 2 minute walk straight down the street to beach access.

Host was extremely friendly and easy to work with. He would respond very quickly. Good location with beach so close! Off of a highway and on a quiet side street. Fenced in back yard was very nice to have. Our dogs were very happy! Other notes…The beds are full size and not super comfortable for us. One was super soft and one was super hard. It all depends on your liking. We are from the north and not used to cockroaches. We did find some when we checked in late at night and our host had someone come next business day to treat. We didn’t see anymore until the last couple of days. It’s normal for the location especially being close to beach and they are water bugs. I guess they are impossible to keep away. Just more of a heads up than anything. We did buy a container to store food and ended up eating out more than we planned.

Great spot for families with kiddos and pets! Fenced in backyard with a tall fence. We were there over a cold weekend but the back deck has great seating for warmer weather. Great bedrooms, comfy beds. There was even a Pac-Man to play! Short walk to the beach.

My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was a great experience the place was clean and very close to the beach, in a great location. The host was very responsive to our questions and messages. If I have the chance, I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely — here’s a firm but fair version that focuses on the experience and the impact on your family.Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing, primarily because of the lack of working air conditioning and the way the host handled the situation.The air conditioning was not working for the entire first 24 hours of our stay, and the temperature inside the home reached around 80 degrees. Traveling as a family, this made the first day and night of our vacation extremely uncomfortable.What made the situation even more frustrating was how unfriendly and unaccommodating the host was throughout the experience. Rather than making us feel supported, we were repeatedly told to check out. We were traveling as a family and had our small dog with us, so leaving the property was not a simple or convenient solution.The host did offer to send a technician, and we appreciate that an attempt was made to address the problem. However, we were expected to plan our vacation around the technician’s arrival and potentially have someone coming in and out of the home while our dog was there. We were not comfortable with that arrangement, and it would have significantly interfered with the plans we had made for our vacation.We understand that unexpected maintenance issues can happen, but we expected better communication, hospitality, and consideration from the host. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled took away from our vacation and left us feeling unwelcome.

This is a great property! Perfect for a family. Better even than the photos. Full kitchen, three bedrooms and a bonus room area off the kitchen. Washer/dryer and fenced back yard there too. Can even see the ocean from the end of the driveway. Not too far to walk to the beach, but if you don't want to walk there is parking at the beach entry too.
