Our home is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA) and is governed by its rules and regulations, as well as federal, state laws and local laws and ordinances. There are short-term rentals in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, or owners of second homes enjoying their retreat. Please respect their privacy and property rights, along with those of other guests in our private residential community.

NOISE
Noise that is unreasonable in the judgment of MPOA or its designated agent is prohibited at any time. Quiet Hours are between 10 P.M. and 7 A.M.

PARKING
All tires must be off the roadway. DO NOT BLOCK FIRE HYDRANTS! Our private neighborhood roads are “highways” for law enforcement purposes per Rockingham County ordinance.
Do not park adjacent to any other homes or lots unless this home’s owner or property manager has told you he has explicit permission for you to do so.
Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed.
If you cannot park all your vehicles on this property or on the adjoining shoulder of the road, overflow parking is available at: the MPOA Owners’ Swimming Pool parking lot at 4007 Peak Drive.
NOTE: Buses, campers and RVs may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. With prior MPOA approval they may be parked in the overflow lot during your stay.

NO OPEN FIRES
You are in an area that is at risk for wildfire! NEVER leave any outdoor fire unattended.

ALCOHOL
Open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area.

PETS
Pets are not allowed to run at large. They must be leashed at all times when off this property.
Pet owners are required to clean up after their pets.

TRASH
DO NOT place trash anywhere outside the house, including on screened porches. It will attract wildlife that could endanger you and damage the property.

House Rules

1. Unless otherwise agreed, check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM.
2. Smoking is not permitted inside our home.
3. No Parties (no kegs).
3. Pets are not permitted on any on the furniture.
4. Never adjust the thermostat more than 3 degrees at a time (It can cause
the system to freeze).

Check-out

1. Please take all used towels and washcloths to the laundry room
2. Please remove used sheets & pillowcases from beds and leave them at
the foot of the bed.
3. Please remove all open containers of food & drink from the refrigerator,
freezer and kitchen cabinets.
4. Please take all trash from the home. Dumpsters are located at the pool
parking lot (4007 Peak Drive, McGaheysville, VA 22840). From our home
head back to Massanutten Drive and turn right.
5. Please make sure the gas grill is cleaned.
6. Please unload all clean dishes from the dishwasher
7. Please place all other clean kitchenware back in their cabinets/drawers.
8. Please turn off all lights, TV’s, Blue-ray players, gas logs, etc.
Please note there are security devices located on the outside of the property, located on the doorbell and above the front deck. These surveillance devices are only used for security purposes.
