Relaxing Lake Retreat

Recently renovated, this unit we call Gin Beach provides a relaxing retreat on Lake Montauk. Gin Beach comes equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, linens, towels, large screen TVs, air conditioning throughout bedroom and living room area, access to private lake beach as well as kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy a summer on the water! Dine outside on outdoor deck space or lighted area with gas grill and seating. Guests can enjoy a common seating area with Adirondack chairs or lounge chairs and a fire pit near the lake. Gin Beach is one of four units on the property at 71 East Lake Drive.

Pets and smoking are not allowed.

Please note that this unit has a grass path from the parking spot to the deck and there is one step up to the deck.

Very pretty and well kept property. Lovely lakeside setting The kitchen with stove and outside gas grille made it very convenient for “stay at home” dinners. The proximity to Montauk village, trails and beaches was great!Our host was very helpful ….available and pleasant. Will stay again.!

Wonderful, modern cottage in Montauk

The property is just fantastic. It’s a great layout for a couple and has some really practical amenities that you just don’t get at a more traditional hotel. The hosts are fantastic as well. Finally, the location can’t be beat if you’re exploring Montauk or even points beyond. We would love to stay again.

Early October is perfect to visit if you like peace and quiet. No wait at restaurants and you have the beach to yourself. Our cottage was perfect and easy access to the owners. We will be back!

Duffy’s is a wonderful escape from the busy parts of Montauk while still being a 5 minute drive from everywhere. The place is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean! Kathy and Rick are wonderful hosts. We cannot wait to return to Duffy’s.

The Perfect Retreat

We fell in love with this place from the moment we entered the grounds. The property is well maintained and the view spectacular. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. From a customized letter, fresh cookies, every amenity you could need or hope For. The cottage is adorable, clean, comfortable, newly renovated and all the space you need for a vacation. Perfect in every possible way!

Everything about this place was perfect! A cozy studio-sized apartment that was clean and welcoming. The location was perfect for quiet evenings but still close to downtown Montauk for the night life. The canoes and paddle boards for fun on the lake were absolutely incredible. I only wish I took advantage of the outdoor shower more!Kelly is an absolute gem — a sugar cookie in human form. The kindest, warmest host! 10/10 would recommend to everyone. Love love love!

Great place for a couple

This was a great spot for my husband and I . We were in town to celebrate our anniversary . The location was remote enough to give us a peaceful relaxing environment but close enough to town that we could zip in and out . The access to the beach pass was key so we could access most beaches with no problem . Sitting by the lake at night was serene . We would love to return !

Mini-moon getaway

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing break immediately following our wedding. This property was perfect. The hosts provided everything needed. The space was quaint and comfortable, extremely clean, secure, the property was beautiful with lake front access and hosts provided beach parking pass. Close to Montauk state park and close to town. Perfect spot for a couples retreat. We will be back.
