Welcome to the Eagle Nest Suite — a peaceful, treetop master suite perched above the forest in Tahoe Donner. This serene, comfortable retreat offers a king bed, soaking tub/shower, window bench, large TV, coffee maker, mini-fridge, small microwave, and tranquil views into the pines. It’s an ideal space for guests respite, cleanliness, and easy access to Truckee’s best amenities.

Our quiet street provides rare tranquility while still being walking distance (0.75 mi) to Z Marketplace, The Lodge Restaurant & Bar, and the Rec Center. We’re 6 miles from historic Downtown Truckee and about 15 miles from Palisades Tahoe.

The suite is part of a larger home but fully locked off with its own private entrance and no shared indoor spaces. One parking space on the large, flat driveway is included.

🌲 Seasonal Atmosphere

In spring and summer, enjoy our “secret gardens,” a work in progress with thousands of planted bulbs offering daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, and seasonal color.
In winter, the gardens disappear under deep snow, transforming the view into a magical snowy forest.

Most Truckee homes do not have A/C, but this suite does — a major comfort advantage in summer.
There is no in-room thermostat, so guests simply message the owner anytime to request temperature adjustments.

🛁 Spa Access (Important Details — Please Read Carefully)

Spa access is optional and must be reserved separately.
If added, you will have exclusive use, meaning we won’t schedule anyone else during your stay.

However, the spa is:

located in a shared outdoor area

visible from the downstairs unit and from multiple neighbors

not fenced, not enclosed, and not private

monitored by 24/7 exterior security cameras (for safety, maintenance, and rule compliance)

occasionally accessed by the owner or staff for legally required maintenance, snow removal, or rule enforcement

There is zero expectation of privacy at the spa.
Exclusive use refers only to scheduling, not to privacy or unrestricted activity.

Quiet hours and all spa rules must be followed at all times.
