An exceptional home away from home in Barranco.

Some of the highlights include 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, high ceilings, hardwood floors, granite counter tops, LCD screen tv, DVD player, along with contemporary furniture throughout.

The combined living/dining room has two comfortable leather sofas from which you can view cable tv or your own DVDs on a LCD screen.
On one side, a stylish large dining table can seat up to eight so you can entertain if you wish. This room has wide sliding doors giving onto a balcony overlooking the quiet side street and view of the sea.

The large kitchen opens to the rear, with an island split-level granite countertop, built-in cabinets, a stainless steel gourmet gas cooker and an American-sized refrigerator.
To one side, there is a small laundry room containing a GE washing machine and dryer,

A bedroom at the front has a double and a single bed, both with high quality mattresses, ample built-in closet space and its own bathroom with shower, bathtub, washbasin and toilet.

A corridor leads to a larger bedroom at the rear, with one queen-sized bed again with high quality mattress. This bedroom has a large rear window with an ocean view across the bay towards the district of Chorrillos to the south. There is an ensuite bathroom with shower, full-sized bathtub, twin washbasins, toilet, and a walk-in closet. LCD TV and desk available for your use.

There is also a visitor's bathroom with washbasin and toilet.

The apartment has hardwood flooring throughout the living and sleeping areas with tiling in the kitchen and bathrooms. All fittings are contemporary high-specification.

Keywords: The location is ideal for a restful stay. It is just off the Vargas LLosa malecon (promenade) in the most northerly part of Barranco, adjoining Miraflores.

Great Location

We could not have asked for a much better location just off the malecon. It was a wonderful walk with ocean views and very peaceful and quiet compared to the craziness of Lima. Within walking distance was Republica del Pisco, nightlife in Barranco and Miraflores. We hope to stay again.

The apartment is in the Barranco area which is the nicest area to stay in Lima. It is very close to the sea and easy walking distance along the pleasant cliff top road to the main restaurant and café area and the centre of Barranco. It is quiet and there is a doorman 24 hours a day so the security is good. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. There are views along the coast from the master bedroom. It easily accomodated the 4 of us and we would be happy to rent it again if we return to Lima and recommend it to others. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Zonia is very good with communication, fluent in English, and rang to welcome us.

Big, newer flat with lovely ocean views!

This is a large flat in a newer building situated just off the ocean in Barranco. It has lovely ocean views from inside. It has a doorman 24-7 and we felt very safe and secure. The elevator is a clean, newer commercial model with a direct private entrance into the flat itself. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends, which is great for privacy. It also has a large washer and dryer which we found to be very helpful after traveling through the various climates in Peru. I noticed that the owner keeps videos, books, games and toys in the unit which is ideal for a family staying in the property. I would add to Americans, be prepared for no heat in the flat. I believe this is very typical for Peru as we only encountered heating once in a hotel in Cusco, which was provided from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM only. None of the other hotels or lodges we stayed in provided any heat source either. Otherwise, this condo is large, in a very nice location within walking distance to restaurants, shops and museums, and it is very secure. Uber works very well in Lima as well. There is a boardwalk along the cliffs that you can walk (or jog) looking out over the ocean and coastline. Overall a beautiful secure property for a great price!!

Nice view but lacking in many ways

We were disappointed to arrive to a very musty smell, no hot water, a fridge that appeared to not be working. As it turns out the apartment had not been prepared for guests. I assume it had not been rented recently and needed airing out. It smelled the whole five days we were there. It turns out the fridge was not plugged and we had to call Zonia to find out about the hot water,how to turn it on. It was nice to have a doorman but none of them spoke English so they were of little help. Also it has been our past experience that instruction be left to provide directions to the closest supermarket and popular tourist sites that were nearby. It also been our past experience that basics like salt and pepper and dish detergent be present for the use of guests. I do thank Zonia for ordering us a taxi to the airport on the last day. We brought no cell and we assumed we could just ask the doorman to order us one but he did not speak our language. The location was good, but overall we were disappointed on many levels.

Outstanding Accommodations and Beautiful Location!

The apartment is located not even a block away from the 6 mile long boardwalk along the giant, jagged cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It was perfect for jogging, biking or simply taking in the view. We enjoyed walking through the different parks and shops along and near the boardwalk. Barranco is one of the best places to stay in Lima. There are many places/restaurants within walking distance to the apartment, even coffee shops!. A list of nearby amenities is provided! We felt the apartment was spacious for the five of us. Every room was well equipped with top notch beds and linens, towels, kitchenware, TV, cable, internet. The building has a doorman 24/7 and the neighborhood is quiet and very safe. We would definitely come back!!! Thank you, Zonia!

Just great, especially during a hot summer month

The apartment was as described, and the owner was very responsive. Excellent internet, a local phone, in a first class neighborhood. We would stay there again in a heartbeat, and will, as we come to Peru every 12 to 24 mos. Highly recommended. The 24 hour "porteria" downstairs was very helpful and cooperative as well.

Comfortable Apartment in Barranco

I have stayed in a few apartments in the Miraflores/Barranco area and this was by far the best for a person who is doing business travel. It is generally quiet. The apartment is modern, clean and well looked after. The apartment had all the modern conveniences, as well as an internet connection and Pay TV. I did have some issues with the wi-fi and had to use the 'hard wire'. Zonia did try to fix it but was unable to. It was close to the walking/running track which was also good for me. The communication between Zonia and I was very good and Zonia always responded to my queries (which was excellent). I'm very glad to have found this apartment as it was perfect for my stay.

Awesome place close to Miraflores, Barranco, and Chorillos, walking or riding bicycle. It is a great way to walk and enjoy the malecon. You can go down to the ocean and grab a bite in some great restaurants. Beautiful evenings and great view. Love the place. Most of all I love the peace and quiet during the week. Some weekends young people have some parties, but it is not that bad.

Excellent beach-side apartment

I have stayed in this apartment numerous times on personal and business trips to Lima. Located in the great suburb of Barranco, the apartment is well set out and has everything you need for a week or a month. Great views from the windows to the beach, and walking distance to the Malecon, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and public transport. The owners are fantastic people, and are always willing to provide assistance. Highly recommended.

I stayed for a month and half, very clean apt, nice furnitures and facilities, very safe building, 7/24 concierge. Easy acces to taxis. Person in charge and owner very accesible and fast response. Will stay again.
