Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Tidy kitchen and living areas. Wipe counters and load any used dishes into the dishwasher. Start dishwasher. Take trash and recycle to outdoor bins.
Set thermostat to comfort mode — Return heat/AC to a neutral setting before leaving.
Secure outdoor areas — Make sure the pavilion seating, patio items, and BBQ lid are left as you found them. Clean-up after your furry and non furry friends. Doggy bags provided.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Recreational fires only in designated pit. Max 2×2 ft. Burn bans may apply anytime per Fire Marshal; guests must check status before lighting.

I chose this neighborhood because it sits at the Gateway to the Gorge, a landscape I’ve worked in and cared for over two decades. Being able to share this area with guests — the trails, the river, the scenery — is something I value. The location also offers the convenience of being steps from Edgefield and a short walk to downtown Troutdale.
