We recently spent a few nights at The Summit in Hocking Hills and overall, it was a great escape. From the moment we arrived, the peace and scenery hit us. It’s tucked in among the trees, so it feels secluded, but not so remote that you can’t get to restaurants or trailheads without too much hassle. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well-stocked — we appreciated that basics were covered (towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies). The hot tub/fire pit area was a highlight; after a long day of hiking and exploring the area, there’s nothing nicer than relaxing outside under the stars.

The hot tub was not in working order for 75 % of our stay. They did comp us 1 night stay. However, that is one of the reasons we book that cabin. Everything else was spectacular
