This property fit our needs perfectly. It was a perfect spot for a 4th of July lake vacation. Kids ranged from 22 to 2 so we were thrilled with the floor plan and activities the property had to offer. The host was always available to answer questions .Nothing negative to say! It met all of our expectations.

Wonderful retreat

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shady Shores. The clean house, well maintained property, and lake experience was just what we needed for our family getaway. The host was easy to reach, kind, and very helpful.

Property had a lot of great features that we really enjoyed - game room, nice dock & swimming area, bar, comfortable open family spaces, ... In my opinion the property could use a little TLC and pro-active replacement or maintenance on items that are nearing the end of their service life BEFORE they fail.

Lake Time

Overall we had a great time as a family. The beds were a bit small for the taller family members, but we got creative and made it work. The property manger came over mid-week to unlock the boat house closet which housed the paddles and extra water craft needs. The newly added game room was a hit and fun for all! The walk to the boat house was easy - we saw several lake house requiring LOTS of stairs, but we had an easier trek to and from the house than most. East check in and easy check out. Rebooking indeed!

We had a fantastic time at Shady Shores! The dock and all the activities available… Kayaking, paddle boarding, canoe… were great! We had six kids to keep busy and they loved it! We also rented a pontoon boat which we were able to tie up at the dock.The house was great with a fantastic game room, plenty of big TVs to watch the soccer games and a great area for the kids downstairs with a large bunk room. A great place for a big family. The only thing I would say is there just weren’t enough bathrooms for all of us —-only three. Even so, I would give this a 10.
