Wonderful ground floor of our 2 story home, complete with private deck, separate entry, and everything you need!

Great for couples or small families. Come enjoy the beauty of the Vineyard. Close to West Chop, near the bus stop. .75 mile to beach and to 1 mi to town. Huge deck and yard. Nice outdoor space for dining, lounging and sunbathing. In the morning have your coffee while soaking in the hot tub. Then take a walk in the peaceful, West Chop Woods and view the ocean at the overlook. Later pack up your lunch in the cooler and head for the beach. Evenings you can roast marshmallows around the fire - outdoor fireplace on the patio, and barbecue on the Weber gas grill. The hot tub is steps away and the stars await. Sleeps 4. 1 bedroom with queen Beauty rest mattress and comfy sleeper sofa in the living room. Rent Saturday to Saturday

We had a lovely time staying here. Just the right distance to town for a good walk. comfortable bed and everything we needed. Host was helpful and nice. Only comment is that the sofa bed is not comfortable for an adult. This is a better choice for 2 people.

Ed and Lea are excellent hosts and great people! We loved our stay (we are repeat guests). The place is clean and comfortable. Enjoyed badminton and grilling dinner. There are games and DVD's and cable for rainy days. Short walk or bike ride to town.

Ed was great, very personable. The space had all we needed. The deck and hot tub were lovely and private. Location perfect. The only downfall was us being spoiled and used to privacy when you rent a house…lots of local residents lived on street-all friendly but lots of stares when you sit on deck. Having access to Ed’s garden was amazing!

Ed and Lea were gracious hosts during our stay. They thought of all the little things that make a place feel like home. Great island rental for a family of 4!

What a wonderful property! The owners definitely go the extra mile to make this rental homey and inviting. The description and pictures were very accurate and they really provided everything we needed for our stay. When they realized our childrens’ ages, they even pulled out beach toys and a sprinkler in the yard for us to play in. While this is the lower floor unit to their home, we had privacy and were given our space. I can’t say enough about how happy we were staying here!

Cozy apartment with beautiful deck/yard.

This in-law style apartment was great for our week-long stay on MV. We cooked a fair amount while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. We brought our bikes over on the ferry and it was great to be able to store them on the deck behind the house. The deck and yard are beautiful and we enjoyed many mornings and evenings relaxing there. The street is quite with not much thru-traffic. We got to chat with Ed for a bit about his life on MV and he gave us recommendations for a few good beaches nearby. We would love to come back someday.

Cozy VH apartment in quiet, convenient neighborhood

The ground level apartment is cozy and is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood, a short drive to downtown Vineyard Haven. Lots of room for parking. It's bright, with lots windows in every direction. It has a wraparound deck, with beautiful pots of flowers at every corner. Comes with a hot-tub, but we did not use it. Interior is very clean and comfortable, with updated appliances. Lots of dishes, pots and pans if you desire to cook. Easy access to the washing machine and dryer was a plus. If you're a musician, there's a piano in the bedroom to play.
