About this property

Beautiful Remodeled home

You will feel at home here with recently upgraded hardwood floors, open kitchen & dining room and modern decor. Easily sleeps 10 and is within minutes to UCSB, Beach, Golf Course, Movie Theaters and Top Restaurants. The interior is very warm and inviting with it's wood floors, comfortable furnishings and cozy beds. A very functional and modern well stocked kitchen which is perfect for cooking and entertaining . The house consists of four bedrooms each consisting of a queen bed. In addition, the living room has a queen futon sofa which can also be converted to a flat bed. Atleast 3 cars can be parked on the driveway and plenty of free street parking is available as well.

As a guest you will have access to everything in the house except for a room in garage Laundry facilities in garage are off limits unless its a 3 day booking.

Self Check-in using keys from lockbox. I will communicate the password of the lockbox a day before your arrival.

Neighborhood overview
Ideally located near 101 freeway. Close to Camino Real shopping center and Bella Vista park. Just 2 miles from UCSB. Very quiet and safe neighborhood.

Other things to note
There is no Air Conditioner in this home. Santa Barbara is a coastal community and it doesn't usually get too hot to require an AC but some days can get uncomfortable. There will be fans provided in all rooms during summers.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please collect everything you brought with you and take it with you or dump it in the garbage bin outside, close all the windows/patio doors
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO TURN OFF GAS FURNACE(thermostat is on the left wall in the hallway to the bedrooms, switch is underneath the thermostat and should be in middle position to turn it off).
Put the keys in the lock box hanging on the door. Also if you flattened the futon couch/bed in the living room please put it back upright and pack the Airbed in case you used it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Keep the front and side doors locked when you are away. Fireplace is not operational.
You are welcome to park your car off-street or on the driveway. Please either wash your dishes, or start the dishwasher prior to leaving.

This house was in a great location. The rooms were comfortable and had plenty of amenities to accommodate my party. The house was well stocked with the essentials. The host was extremely responsive and very helpful when an item of ours was left behind. Would stay here again!

Great base for a SB vacay

Clean and charming home to relax and use as a home base for visiting all that SB offers. Close to all sights in both Goleta and SB proper. Host was super to communicate with. Highly recommend.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect for us because we were visiting my son who attends UCSB. It is close enough to downtown Santa Barbara and the beach. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions I had.

Fabulous Place!

We had a group of friends stay here for a wedding in Santa Barbara. The house was perfect, nice and lots of open space for us to hang out. There was a cute patio and the neighborhood was really nice. Gaurav was a great communicator! Would definitely stay here again!

Great house for large groups!

My friends and I were in town for a weddding and this house was perfect for our large group. We had 11 people that all fit comfortably, the host was extremely responsive and they also made sure we had enough towels + beach towels. The check out process was very straight forward and simple. My large family stayed here to attend the memorial of our mom who passed in Feb, 2023. It was perfect for all of us. The property description was accurate. The owner was prompt in responding to my questions. The home's location was very convenient. Nice to be back "home" as most of us attended Dos Pueblos H.S in the past.

Nice place but didn’t like sharing with cockroaches. Appeared clean but could not sleep knowing bug

I feel we should receive some of the rent money back due to the bugs. Had to sleep with the lights on. It is beautiful and looked clean. Owner said he will take care of the roaches.

The house is clean and well stocked with necessities in bathrooms and kitchen, etc,... Beware, no access to laundry room or garage. No dining area for a a group of more than 3-4. Basic home at premium pricing is my only "issue" but inventory was so sparse, not much choice...

Great neighborhood and property

We stayed at the house over a long weekend in October. We were in Santa Barbara for a family wedding, so this was a great place for my family, my brother in law and my mother and father in law to stay in. Everyone had a room and there was still extra space to have even more people sleep over. The property was super clean and had everything that we needed to get through the weekend. The kitchen was set up perfectly for my mother in law to make us some home cooked meals. The house was about 20 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, about 15 minutes from the beach and close to 101. Everything we needed. There was one minor issue that we had with one of the bedrooms, but the owner was really responsive and helped us resolve the issue. If you are ever in need of a long term place to crash in Santa Barbara, this house should be on your list. Its cheaper than a hotel and more spacious and cozy.

Very dirty and inconvenient

First of all, the 1st bathroom tub flooded. Second of all, we ran out of toilet paper on day 1, only 3 roll was provided for 8 people. And lastly, the entire place was dusty and not clean at all. I am very disappointed as I have been to Santa Barbara many times before thru VRBO and has gotten very good service and this is definitely the worst!!!

Fantastic 5 day stay

We stayed for 5 nights with family and friends. We had a lot of kids and loved that they could be outside and know that they were safe since it was all fenced. We loved that the home had all necessary things to make you feel like your home. Plenty of space. We loved the 4 bedrooms all had queen sized beds and there was 2 bathrooms for all of us to use. Lots if options in the kitchen for cooking utensils, pots, and pans, etc. We talked to a few neighbors and felt the area was very safe. We were 1 block away from a high school that wasn't in school and had a huge front grass area with trees that we took the kids to to run. We were also 1 block in a different direction from a kids small park with walking space to get out. Shopping stores were so close by. In 10 minutes of driving you can be at a Sprouts, Trader Joes,, Albertsons, Ralph's, Target, Costco, Ross, Smart and Final, and gas stations. The beach wasn't far as well as the train station for those that want to ride the train over. Thank you again for allowing us into your home. We so truly appreciate it.

This was a deceptively large house with plenty of sleeping space for our large family. It is convenient to UCSB and lots of great food options. We were very comfortable and found it a great value. I appreciated that there was coffee on site for me to use because I forgot to bring my own!
