Just simply wonderful!! True to the pictures. What the pictures cannot convey, however, is the peaceful setting, the quiet calm--and how simple it was to get to busy downtown Greenville or drive to scenic hikes. Our week here will be memorable for a long while.

You will feel the comfort and peace from home but the elevated decor of an upscale hotel. This is a 20 out of 10. Better than the pictures and the host and hostess are amazing!

The pictures on the listing didn’t do justice. The cottage was awesome. Quiet, clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this location, very easy to get to Greenville and back.

The most comfortable place to stay, aside from your own home! Bed was extremely comfortable, the automatic blinds helped so much. Beautiful bath tub for a forest view soak. Kitchen has everything you need and more! Coffee and seasoning. Fridge with icemaker. And the cutest guest book!

The first impression upon entering Hickory Cottage was the accuracy of the photos on VRBO. What you see on VRBO is what you get - absolute perfection from the decor and design of the cottage to the serenity and relaxation it provides. An added bonus is its close proximity to various attractions and restaurants Greenville and Taylors has to offer. Hickory Cottage is a well-maintained and upscale rental one worthy of a 5-star review!!

Such a quiet, peaceful place. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed a five day stay. Attended our Grandson’s wedding and celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

The pictures of this property did not do it justice. It was an amazing little cottage with all the right touches and finishes. The host was very accessible and had everything ready. Just the right location including privacy and an off-grid location but close to the Greenville area. Can't recommend it enough

This is an exceptional guest cottage. The experience was beyond what words could describe. The cottage itself was peaceful, quaint, and impeccably decorated. Every amenity that you could possibly desire was at your fingertips. The hostess was readily available but respectful of privacy. The pictures couldn’t possibly capture the charm of this cottage. Best rental I have ever stayed at! The house was immaculate! It was exactly what the pictures showed. There was plenty of room, yet it was so cozy! We ventured nearby towns during the day and stayed at the cottage at night. Built a fire on the outside porch fireplace and read each night we were there. It was the most relaxing few days away that we both needed!

The Hickory Cottage was absolutely fantastic for a four night stay for us. It's a beautiful home in a lovely and quiet location. It was perfect for us to work from home during the day and go to Greenville for dinner in the evening. The cottage had everything we needed, and Stacey is a phenomenal host. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO's, and this one ranks at the top for value, convenience, and location - outside of the city, but close enough to venture in when we wanted to. It's truly a hidden gem. I highly recommend it for a solo traveler or couple who don't want to stay downtown.
