Dauphin Island Village central home and efficiency/mother-in-law/or adult children cottage available two for one! The house sleeps 6 and the cottage 2. Churches, island bakery, convenient stores, island shopping, restaurants, and parks are all within walking distance of this island sweet spot.

We love the slow pace of the Village; the Shell Mound Park nearby; and the access to great island eats not a far walk from this place. There are pop-up art markets and a farmer's market on some days at Green Park, very close by, or you may be lucky enough to catch an event at the new island community center or at Water Tower Park.

There are 4 public beaches, with the nearest just under a mile away, close by. We offer free parking passes to several beaches on the west end of the island, none more than about 4 miles west of the Village.

A 7-mile-long bike and walking path is just one block from this home--rent some bikes to see the island life at a laidback pace and enjoy!
