We had an outstanding experience with both the unit and host. Kathy is an excellent communicator. She reached out to us well in advance to provide clear instructions about how to get to and access the property. The property was exactly as advertised. It was clean, the kitchen was very well stocked and there were some nice to have things that people sometimes forget! It was very quiet, nicely updated and an overall wonderful experience. If we head to that area again, we will only want to rent from Kathy.

This is a beautiful, recently renovated unit. The area is quiet, and there's plenty of space on the beach. The house is a great size for a larger family or for bringing the grandparents, and the AC works incredibly well on all floors.

We loved our week at Oyster Inlet. The hosts are absolutely wonderful! The place is updated and decorated to perfection. The access to the beach is so easy and the views are wonderful. We did bring a regular coffee pot because 4 of us are coffee drinkers. My boys loved the little touch of an indoor s’mores maker. They enjoyed the dart board and ping pong table as well. The beds slept well which is always a bonus when you are staying places. One thing to note is parking is tight with 2 cars max. We would absolutely rent here again and recommend it to friends.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The townhouse was beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and honestly had more amenities than we ever expected. The hosts really seem to have thought of the little things. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, coffee and pods, and even dishwasher pods. There were laundry pods and dryer sheets for the washer and dryer, beach chairs and towels, beach toys, and even a fishing pole. They even left a complete s’mores kit with graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows! There were also individually packaged basic medicines available, which could easily save someone a late-night trip to the store. Those little touches really stood out to us.We visited in early October and the beach was empty, which was exactly what we were hoping for. Having what felt like our own private stretch of beach was incredibly relaxing. The private beach access was one of our favorite things about the property. Being able to walk straight back to the townhouse for lunch, a drink refill, or something we forgot and be back on the beach a few minutes later was fantastic. And the views… absolutely amazing. Sitting on the balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee, watching the sunrise over the ocean and ships passing in the distance, was probably one of my favorite parts of vacation.I can’t recommend this place or the hosts enough. It was comfortable, incredibly well equipped, beautiful, and just an all-around relaxing place to stay. We will be back!

Rebecca, Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that all of the little extras helped make your vacation even more relaxing. We really try to anticipate the things our guests might need—or may have forgotten to pack—so it means a lot to know those touches were appreciated. October is such a wonderful time to enjoy Topsail, especially when you can practically have the beach to yourself! There really is nothing better than morning coffee on the balcony, watching the sunrise over the ocean. It was truly a pleasure having you as our guests, and we would absolutely love to welcome you back to One Fish, Two Fish Ocean Retreat. Thank you again for choosing our home for your beach getaway and for taking the time to leave such a kind review. We hope to see you again soon! ❤️🌊

The place is spectacular!!! Everything seemed new. There were designs I would like to incorporate in our house especially the wallpaper in half bath off kitchen.Listening to the sounds of the waves put us in dreamland. So soothing. Absolutely no problem falling asleep.A big to do for me was that there weren't any bugs as I am terrified of them. Ayla was great the one time we had to reach out to her. The only negative was that all the clean towels were damp so I had to dry them in the dryer before using.Although none of us have control of the weather, we were blessed in having the most beautiful weather our entire week which made being right on the ocean all that much better. Missing it already. Thanks to owners for sharing their lovely home:)

wonderful beach front town house with direct access to the beach! this area of north topsail island is not crowded -- it is not near any public access site so homeowners have the beach to themselves. the unit was very clean, well organized and new. our party of four was very comfortable staying in this beautifully designed unit. thanks so much for sharing your place with us. we will remember this trip!

Family weekend away

A beautiful, very well appointed oceanfront condo. From the minute you enter it is obvious that the owners have thought of everything to make your stay as carefree as possible. Comfortable bedrooms with ocean views, and luxurious bathrooms. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather, and enjoyed a lot of time on the deck and the sand. We will definitely return to Oyster Inlet, and highly recommend it.
