The property was very clean and tidy. Everything we might need was easy to find. The climate control was adequate to stay comfortable. We wish we had more time to stay and explore the mountain and pond. We'd gladly stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and very quiet. From the front yard we could see the wildlife area across the road. And in the backyard we saw deer and wild turkeys.Andrea is a fantastic host. She was super quick to answer questions and help us with a few requests. I would easily return to this great home and property.
We were looking for a quiet cabin to use as a weekend home-base for hiking trips. This was exactly what we were looking for and provided everything we needed to cook, be comfortable, and relax. The cabin itself has some neat history that added to the experience. Highly recommend if looking for a quiet place to enjoy being outside.

The cabin itself was nice, clean and in a quiet peaceful setting. We were able to check in early which was great. The details listed stated the water was drinkable but it smelled highly of sulfur and we opted not to drink it. We were prepared with supplies as we knew the location was remote, but do too this misinformation and also about it stating there was a Keurig we ended up having to make an unexpected trip into a nearby town. We were prepared with single serve coffee pods, but there was no Keurig coffeemaker, it was a Ninja pot which requires grounds. There was a gallon jug of drinking water provided but as we were staying 3 nights this would not be enough. We drove to Harrison which was a long, windy drive… a quaint little town and we did find a taco truck so that was ok. We went for a walk around the property and spent some time outside on the patio which was peaceful. We only ended up staying one night out of the three, we found the beds to be very uncomfortable and spent a horrible night tossing and turning, just waiting for daylight so we could head home. Like Goldilocks, one bed was way too soft, another bed was way to firm and the other was an air mattress on the floor. Sadly, there was no “just right” for us. We knew there would be no refund of any kind but we opted to leave anyway.
