We loved the retro vibe of this cabin and the pond view was very peaceful and relaxing. Hosts were very accommodating even during an issue with the hot water heater which they were very quick to respond to. Would definitely stay here again:)

We loved our stay at the Retro Cabin! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a peaceful weekend in Hocking Hills. The host went above and beyond by leaving a birthday cake and note for my 40th which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend for a relaxing couple’s getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Retro Cabin. The property was gorgeous and the provided the perfect get away for the weekend. The juke box was a great retro touch and the home provided all the amenities one could need for the weekend. Our favorite part was sitting on the porch having coffee in the AM. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great Hocking Hills stay!
This was a beautiful and immaculately clean property that was perfectly set up for a couple! They thought of everything you might need and the decor was super cool! Everything was perfect!
Amazing hosts! Amazing place! Very relaxing and gorgeous retro cabin. Exactly as described and then some. Can’t wait to come back. The guidebook was amazing and enhanced our stay! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay and great memory.
My wife and I wanted a quick get away and this cabin was perfect. We really enjoyed dancing to the juke box as we wound down our baby for bedtime and my wife and I enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch overlooking the pond.
This cabin is both wonderfully situated and beautifully decorated. The adjacent pond and woods are the perfect setting for morning coffee or evening drinks, and comfortable chairs have been mindfully placed. The interior decoration is fun and attractive, and the cabin is well-outfitted with creature comforts. I particularly appreciated the black-out blinds. It’s very nice to have the option to sleep in past sunrise!
We had an amazing stay at the retro cabin. It was scenic, secluded, and had all the amenities that we needed. It was clean and the decor was super fun. The old school jukebox was so much fun and had many of our faves. The hot tube was relaxing, and sitting at the fire pit with the twinkle lights and the pond fountain light was perfect! I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature.

Thank you, Lyndsey for being our very FIRST guests at the Retro Cabin and for taking the time to leave us a five-star review! The jukebox is one of our favorites as well - we had a lot of fun picking out which records to include. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your weekend getaway and would love for you to visit again. Thank you for choosing Living The Dream Cabins!
It is a beautiful property. The steps to the bedroom are very steep. Made me very nervous there isn’t a handrail to hold onto. The shower doesn’t have a curtain and is like a rainfall. Besides those two things it is very nice and beautiful. Peaceful . Close to locations and groceries if needed . Owners were very helpful.

Thank you for your review, Kate! We are glad you enjoyed your stay at our Retro Cabin and always strive to provide a 5-star experience. The shower is designed as an open-concept rainfall style, as shown and described in our listing, and many guests enjoy the open, relaxing feel while pulling the pocket door closed for privacy. There is also a wooden banister along the stairs for support, though we understand every guest’s comfort level can vary. We value your feedback and hope to welcome you back for another stay with Living The Dream Cabins!
If you’re looking for a laid back trip down memory lane, this is the place for you!
This cabin is located close to multiple wineries and has all kinds of fun amenities.
My husband and I had a blast rocking out to the juke box! We caught 7 blue gills and a bass in the front pond. Our puppy LOVED the treats they left for her.
Whoever decorated the cabin has a fantastic eye for detail.
The hosts are very responsive. Thanks for a fun weekend in the 70s - 80s

The Koblitz family has been visiting Hocking Hills for the last 40+ years, and in 2015 decided to build our own legacy.
Ian, with 20 years of real estate experience, found his true calling in short-term rentals. He is the visionary and mastermind behind our properties – each designed to offer a one-of-a-kind stay. Alongside his wife, Megan, they have turned their love for real estate into something truly special – dedicating themselves to creating unique and memorable experiences for each of their guests.
In the last decade, we have grown our portfolio to include our OG Family Cabin, Treehouse, Underground Earth Home, Grain Silo, Airstream Glamper, and our newest Retro Cabin.
However, we are NOT a big cabin company! Every property has been carefully designed, constructed, remodeled, and maintained by us. Our team is truly a family affair!
We take immense pride in providing a 5-star experience for all of our guests, paying attention to every detail and the thoughtful touches that make your stay unforgettable.
THANK YOU for choosing Living The Dream Cabins. We hope you feel right at home and enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy making it special for you!
