We were pleasantly surprised that this cute little cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful with firepits next to the calming channel. We will be back!
This was a cozy cabin with everything you need for a short or long stay. The property is right on the water with dock as well as use of canoe, kayaks, rowboats and paddle boat. My son spent many hours fishing from the kayak. The fishing on the lake is fantastic and the swimming was great. We went to town, just a few miles away, and there are several shops, coffee shop, ice cream shop and antique stores. Paul was a great host and always timely with any questions we had. Thanks for a great stay!
Our extended family enjoyed renting both cabins, just enough to have enough inside space and still feel like you’re getting away. Our kids loved the shallow canal to play in.
Paul's cabin was very nice. The property is very well maintained and equipped with everything that was needed for our stay. Paul communicated what we needed to bring to the VRBO, as well as how to utilize the various extras that came with the property. (e.g. Fish cleaning house, kayak use, etc.). Thank you!
This cabin was a great place to stay for family time. We had a fun watching the boats, enjoying a row boat excursion, night time campfires and watching the stars! Plus the bedrooms were so quiet. One could still sleep in while others were awake!
Our whole family enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy and well stocked. The property was peaceful. The water access was amazing. We swam, kayaked, fished and enjoyed watching the sun set from the fire pit. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Paul for helping us have a fantastic getaway. We can’t wait to come back.
Easy using on line to book property and checking in and out with no contact, Except the house cleaner Kept pacing back and forth then sitting waiting for us to leave. Cabin needs updates and new boats to use.
The cabin we stayed in was right on the water, with a beautiful view of the lake. It was great for our needs, had it's own fire pit near the lake, two identical rooms, was very clean and cozy. If you're looking to "unplug" for the weekend this is the place for you, the internet is spotty at times. We enjoyed the water equipment provided, and got to know our cabin neighbors, as the water equipment is shared. Overall, great weekend!
My son and I had 3 nights booked for the 4th of July. We stayed 2 nights and went home. The cabin was 5 stars all around. The weather was a 0. Hot, hot, hot. Paul was great and we have no complaints. A nice getaway close to home.
Year after year, always the best way to spend a vacation.
This was our 6th year staying here and it is always an amazing time! Kayaking, canoeing, fishing, playing outdoor and indoor games, the campfires, stories told and the memories made.
