Enjoy our large game room year-round (with AC or heat) when you can't be on the lake! Lightly developed this 684-acre lake has all kinds of options for fun and is known for great fishing (year-round!), especially walleyes, with low traffic. We offer a paddle boat, canoe, kayaks, and a float mat. Our shoreline has a sandy-rocky bottom with minimal weeds, and a low-slope out. Depending on spring rain, water depths will vary but often it's shallow enough for wading and swimming with little ones.
Enjoy sunsets from the deck or firepit area, or relax with your morning coffee. Our tree-lined lot has shade and sun with beautiful sunset views over the lake. Within walking distance are scenic woodlands and marshes of State Wildlife Mgmt lands.
Our main level welcomes plenty of natural light into the open-concept great room, with a spacious kitchen and dining area, and living room with a large patio door to the deck. Do your grilling a few steps out the back door (we have a charcoal and gas grill, propane provided) and the campfire area is just steps from there. The main level has two bedrooms and a full bath, and a few steps from the living room you can access the game room which can be used year-round. We have a full size ping pong and air hockey table, a full size fridge and tables for games, etc. Plus you will find lawn games, sand toys, and swim noodles/floaties. It is temperature controlled with AC in the summer and heat in winter, making it a great place for your pets, too.
The basement has two bedrooms and a full size bathroom, along with a great room that welcomes kids, teens an adults alike with two futon couches and three gaming chairs. There are TVs and DVD players on both levels, as well as a collection of movies (basement TV is a chromecast). There are books, cards, boardgames, puzzles and some toys on both levels.
The Public Access is on the north end of the lake (about 1/4 mile from us) and has a concrete ramp, parking area and a sandy beach-like area.
** There is a dock at the home but currently no boat lift. Please bring an anchor for any watercraft you bring to anchor near shore overnight.
