About the host
Hosted by owner/property manager
We are a family who have relocated many times ourselves in various places in the US and Europe, but Austin continues to hold a special place in our heart
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is amazing for families. If this is your first step towards relocating to Austin, we are zoned for some amazing schools including McCallum Highschool of the Arts. The neighborhood is residential, yet vibrant. It is well maintained. There are original bungalows mixed in with newer builds. We have a small retail area two blocks away with a restaurant(Little Deli) and wine bar where the neighborhood meets up. Kids and Adults. We also have three major retail streets right around us. North Lamar, which intersect with Airport blvd where there is the very popular Japanese shopping area and a 10 min drive south brings you to Central Market. Anderson Blvd is to the north of us, with many restaurants, movie theatres and mainstream shopping and Burnett Ave, which has a very Austin vibe to it, with Taco Deli, Voodoo Dougnuts etc.
What makes this property unique
Our property is the perfect combination between the original bungalow styles of the neighborhood, with a very updated modern twist and added space, windows and light. We love our corner lot and our outdoor space.
