Near family in Cherry Creek

We had a great 13 night stay at this location which was a 2 minute drive from our daughter’s home.The pool adjacent to the rental is possibly available for an additional fee, which was a nice option for our family.A great quality home that was private and quiet.We’ll be using this property again.

Short Vacation

The purpose of our visit was to get my grandson settled into his summer apartment. He has an internship in Austin Tx. The house was just as listed. It was perfect for my granddaughter, cousin and myself. The house was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful and available when needed. If in the area, I would definitely choose to stay there again.

Weekend Stay

Truly could not have imagined a better stay. Rita went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our first roadtrip with our baby - from high chairs, to bouncers, to crib, etc. The house and property truly cannot be beat - it’s hard to find that type of seclusion and peace but still be within minutes from all Austin has to offer. We would stay here again and again!

Gem in neighborhood of Austin

My family and I stayed here for a wedding. The owners were very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The property and rooms were very clean and modern. Loved the breakfast nook with keurig and snacks. The decor and style of the home was very relaxing, with layout being spacious enough to accommodate six adults comfortably. Rita and Bill were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Great location, close to downtown Austin and Dripping Springs, but private enough (at the end of a dead-end road) to feel more secluded. Thanks for a great stay! Enjoyed listening to the chatty morning doves every morning as well.

Family Time

We had everything we needed at the property. Bill and Rita are great hosts and are in a separate house on the property which allows them to assist immediately whenever there is something you need. The location is great and silent. I would book again!

Pleasant and Comfortable Stay

Rita and Bill are incredibly kind and helpful hoats. Rita was great at communicating prior to stay. They stay on the property so it was convenient for them to help when the lock ran out of battery. Bill also greeted us when we arrived and offered to help us with our bagsThe home is very clean spacious (we had 5 adults and 2 kids) and had everything you could need. Bill and Rita are thoughtful and have extra amenities, games for kids, toileteries, etc. We very much enjoyed our stay and were very happy. Will be back next time!

Beautiful Gem

This was one of the best VRBO properties- scratch that it was the best- that my family has ever stayed at. Perfect size, perfect backyard, exactly as advertised. Great communication with hosts.

Weekend with family

We didn’t realize how lucky we would be when we booked this fine house for a weekend out in Austin with my family. Bill and Rita were so kind and we felt welcomed by them and the house. Perfect location for getting into Austin and still having a quiet and cozy place to retire every evening

Christmas vacation at Arete Stay

Bill and Rita were excellent hosts. They were very responsive with all communication. The home is well cared for, cozy, and pleasant. We can't wait to come back for our next trip to Austin.

Peaceful place to rest and recharge

This is an amazing property. Beautifully designed with master and guest rooms on opposite sides of the home. Surrounded by trees you surely don’t feel like a major city is a few blocks away. It’s quiet at night and we had all the comforts of home. We were so appreciative of how calming the home was as we arrived both nights exhausted. Thank you for our stay. We can’t wait to come back.

We enjoyed our stay, although short. The host were great and it's in a fantastic location. Close to everything but nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will definitely book again

Arete Stay/Peaceful

This house was so nicely put together, and peaceful. It was so much more relaxing then what you would find at a hotel. It was close to so many things to do. The outside sitting area was relaxing. They had everything that you could need in the house. They did a great job at decorating down to the little details. They let us check in early when we had no expectations of even doing so. Rita and Bill are very kind people. Very attentive to detail and answer any questions you may have. I will be booking their house again when we make it back to Austin.

Beautiful property

Arete Stay

This stay was such a treat. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to all questions. The property was fully furnished and had everything we needed and more! New and clean. Couldn't have asked for a bettery stay for a group of 7 in Austin, TX. Will definitely revisit when we go back to Austin.

Thoughtful hosts, quiet location

Bill and Rita clearly put some effort into making this place comfortable for guests. Everything was extremely clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there were board games and yard games for us to use. There's a greenway nearby with pretty good connections to local parks which I really appreciated for my morning trail runs. They have a low-stress check-in and check-out which worked well for our inconvenient flight schedule. Thanks Bill and Rita!

We couldn't have ask for more!!!

Everything was extraordinary! First of all, Arete Stay was immaculate, both inside and out. The home is situated in a gorgeous, quiet and safe area with grass and beautiful trees, a perfect place for grandbabies and pets to run without the fear of traffic. The parking is just steps from the huge and inviting front porch, complete with rocking chairs. Inside, we found everything we needed, including large, comfortable spaces/rooms, beds, dining areas, baths and closets, linens and even a Keurig with a great selection of pods. And again, it was all in pristine condition. We are so happy and blessed to have found Arete Stay, and we will certainly try to stay here again. Thanks for making our little adventure to Austin so enjoyable!

Perfect Getaway

I didn't get to meet Rita and her husband but my daughter and her husband said they were the amazing. We had a wonderful stay at there place. They had everything we needed to cook meals and they had a Keurig and coffee which was a plus for us. We came for ACL weekend and then drive was about a 15 minute drive. I wish we could have stayed and extra day to just relax and enjoy the house a bit more. We would definitely stay again if available.

Gorgeous home

The property owners were very nice and reassured me when I was worried our reservation fell through. They were helpful when we arrived and greeted us kindly. They answered all my questions and were very helpful. The home was lovely in a area that isn’t cut off from civilization but still had a nice woodsy vibe. The interior design of the home is absolutely lovely. Most things were included (ie towels, travel sized soaps, cook wear, etc.) There was a laundry room in the house which was nice. And the owners live on the property just in case. 10/10 would recommend and maybe one we will be able to visit again.

5++++ Star stay!

We had a wonderful experience at Arete Stay! The house is beautiful, spacious, well furnished and sparkling clean. The exterior spaces are amazing. Multiple deep porches with comfortable furniture. And you want to be out on those porches because the grounds are spectacular! An unbelievable oasis in the heart of the city. The hosts are extraordinary. The communication before and during our stay was excellent. They also were very kind to accommodate a special request for us. Our daughter lives nearby, and we look forward to making Arete Stay our base when we visit in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay!
