Located on Little Lac Courte Oreilles Lake which is connected to the large lake. 20 minutes from Hayward. 15 minutes from Big Fish Golf Course. Rustic cabin with modern appliances and plenty of room. Owners are very responsive and have provided everything you need for your stay. Lots of pike and bass to catch and even a musky, if that’s what you’re after. We have stayed here 2 years in a row and it has been perfect.

Thank you. We are very happy you had A great weekend.
We really enjoyed our time and had a great time fishing the lake. We’re glad we had good mild weather given there’s only AC in the bedrooms, but we were comfortable. It is a little more cozy than we expected but five of us had enough room and there was even still an open bed. Lots of supplies available and many thoughtful small things that you sometimes overlook.
Loved the location, the cabin, the lake and the Loons! And the best part, they are dog friendly so our furry kids we able to join us. They loved the lake as well!
Had a fantastic week relaxing by the lake! I do need to stress the low level of the water between the small and large lake, as I borrowed my buddy’s boat and had to replace the propeller after chunking it on rocks. That did not take away from the cabin itself though. The cabin was perfect for 6 people, and we really appreciate the amenities provided to make our stay easier.
We had a wonderful time at this old, rustic cabin. It has a true up-north feel. The outdoor space is awesome and we lucked out with sunny days for outside activities. We loved the campfire spot and our grandkids enjoyed the swimming area, complete with swim mat. Inside, the main bathroom is tiny, but updates to the property and an added shower made it doable. The kitchen has nice appliances and everything you could possibly need for the week. The space was a little tight for our growing family, but otherwise we would rent again. The owners are wonderful to work with.
Would have liked to get a boat through the channel to fish. Power out two times and not storming. ?? Loved the space, lily pad a favorite as 51/2 yr old granddaughter learned to jump into water from it and finally the dock this week. Fishing good right from dock and had a meal one evening!Enjoying many camp fires with porch therapy. The Mueller and Fricke families

I just spent 2 weeks at the cabin, and we had gone on the big lake threw the channel at least 20 times with A 22 ft pontoon and A 18ft boat. Although they are considering raising the lake level to accommodate boats going through the channel. We had A great 2 and A half weeks with the family
Just wanted to say how much we loved the house—it’s full of potential and packed with conveniences that made our stay smooth and memorable. The bathroom setup with the washer and dryer was a blessing, and that back room by the kitchen door was perfect for bringing in the dogs and drying them off before they got too far. Thoughtful touches like that really made a difference. The kids especially loved waking up and jumping straight into the lake—pure fun! The upstairs was cozy and spacious, and every room felt welcoming. The outside deck with lights and fire-pit area was a big plus! We all enjoyed ourselves, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place with us.”**
Excellent cabin with a rustic feel but modern conveniences and plenty of room. Located on the quiet small lake with access to the big lake. A short 20 minute drive to Hayward. Owners are very responsive and have taken care of everything you would need. We have stayed in lake rentals in the Hayward area often but this was the best experience we have had.
The cabin is a perfect way for rest and relaxation. If I were to look up definition of a cabin this place would be it. The property is beautiful and amenties. The owner was great. The lake is nice and clear and a great fishing resource. Me and my family Deftly enjoyed our time at this place. It's close to everything and plenty for everyone to do. Thanks again!

We thank you so much for your review. We appreciate it and hope to see you next year.
The property was a perfect place for my family, we have been coming up to Hayward since we were all little kids, we are part of the LCO tribe, everything was included ie shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergents, I believe we will be back, so far the best place we have found up in Hayward, I give a 19 , thanks for your hospitality Mike.
We enjoyed our stay. The place is a mix of old and new cabin but overall a nice property. We appreciated the new kitchen appliances and the new washer and dryer. Could tell owners made effort to make guests feel welcome and added small touches like labeling light switches. The cabin was large enough with two bathrooms and plenty of beds for our family including two teens. The window air conditioner in the loft was essential; another unit on first floor would’ve added to comfort on hot days. We liked the outside of the property, fairly private, large yard with nice deck and fire area. Lots of stairs but not too steep. The dock was perfect for our fishing boat and jet ski and a second dock was nice for sitting at the lake. The lake around dock was swimmable; shoes needed for rocky bottom; our dog was in and out of the water all week. Two kayaks, a paddle boat and a floating mat were included. The channel to the large lake was very shallow but our fishing boat made it through very slowly. We found one nice sandbar and a few lakeside restaurants; one with gas for boats. We didn’t fish too hard but still caught some pike, bass, crappie, perch and bluegill. I appreciated the availability of large garage bags/can in cabin and small dumpster at end of driveway. Quiet road good for walking dog. Cabin was well stocked; maybe too well stocked and a bit cluttered as I would’ve liked more space to store our belongings. Overall a nice property on a nice lake. Thanks for your hospitality.
