About this property

The Great Cape Escape

Welcome to the Great Cape Escape! Located in NW Cape Coral on a canal that leads to the Gulf. The home is a vacation itself with lots to do, foosball, ping pong, arcade style hoops, cornhole, giant connect 4, ring toss, and a beautiful, heated at no additional cost, salt water pool and spa. You can explore the canals and mangroves with our provided Kayaks and life jackets, go for a bike ride and explore the neighborhood on the quad bike or the single bikes available, enjoy a movie or the game on the 75" TV screen inside, or if you choose, you can do that outside while floating in the pool with the outdoor 55" TV. Beautiful sunsets and a peaceful canal view await you while hanging out on the Lanai. For bedrooms you will find 2 King bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a third bedroom with 2 double/full beds and the 4th bedroom has 3 twins and a double/full murphy bed. Each bedroom has it's own TV and a mini Nintendo gaming console. There's a fully stocked kitchen, bath and beach towels, pool floats and many additional amenities are provided. High speed internet and a dedicated work space make it easy for anyone who needs to work while away. If you feel like exploring and checking out what to do in and around town, I have a welcome book that I provide our guests, full of ideas, eats and treats.

Our family had a great time at The Great Cape Escape! The house was perfect for our group of eleven, with plenty of space for everyone. The house was exactly as pictured, very clean with comfortable beds in every room. We spent most of our time in the pool area. The kids also enjoyed fishing the canal right off the dock and kayaking. Jackie was a great host and we would definitely stay again!

Great Cape Escape

The house was perfect. Lots of activities to keep the kids busy. The pool was by far the best part! We spent so much time out there. The host was amazing and easy to work with.

This place was Perfect. There were 13 of us staying and it had plenty of room. The house was set up great for large groups. Plenty of towels, dishes, seating, bedding. The lanai and pool was amazing. We rented a pontoon boat and was able to have it delivered and picked up right at the house. There was a grocery store and dining nearby that was super convenient. Would definitely recommend staying.

Hello there, my family and I love getaways with family & friends, especially in the cold winter months being from MI! We are excited to host others and have put a lot of time and love into our place for you to enjoy and make wonderful memories!

Why they chose this property

The NW Cape is a beautiful area that is up and coming. We loved the large canal that we see fish jumping in almost daily and kayaking our way to the mangroves. Located in a quiet area that is a short 5 minutes away from groceries and our favorite subs at Publix, you will also find several restaurants in the same strip mall as Publix for nearby and quick eats. Yucca Pens Preserve and Jim Jeffers Park are great for getting out and enjoying nature and both are within 10mins of the home. It's a short 25 mins to the airport in Punta Gorda (PGD), and there's so much to do that is within an hours drive! Just check out my welcome book that's provided to our confirmed guest reservations :)
