Charming property, historic building, wood floors. Nice kitchen, well furnished and supplied. Plentiful space, tall street view windows. Walkable: Bronzeville restaurant/bar, great food & drinks, sports, jazz music. Pete's Market, all essentials, fresh groceries and grab/go items. Bus lines. Ten minute Uber downtown, Brady street, plenty more. Would return
Such a cute and clean place! One of our favorite thoughtful additions was that there's a nice coffee maker and coffee beans available for use. :) Staying here was super smooth and I didn't have to worry about the cleanliness or safety while there.
Super communicative hosts, easy check in, great space. Walkable to downtown and a great bookshop right across the road. Would definitely stay here again.
We truly enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment. It was just a short walk from an adorable bookstore, a great coffee shop, and so many places to see. Communication was excellent and the property manager truly went above and beyond to assist us. Definitely book this spot!
my friend and I had a great experience at this property! communication was easy and it was very centrally located. street parking was a breeze, and we were able to walk to some cool breweries and restaurants. would definitely stay here again.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The unit has a lot of charm—beautiful furnishings and decor that highlight the character of the building. Parking was easy to find throughout our stay, which was a huge plus.As expected with a building of this age, the windows appear to be original and quite thin, so city noise does carry through. Not all of the windows have screens, so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving them open. A white noise machine in the bedroom would be a thoughtful addition. The space lacks a dedicated dining area—there were two barstools in the bedroom closet, but nowhere to comfortably place them for eating. A small kitchen or dining table would make a big difference. The bedroom doesn’t have a fan or ceiling fan, and the window AC unit listed in the description hadn’t yet been installed. While that wasn’t a major issue for us, there was no way to circulate air in the space. A standing fan would go a long way in making the bedroom more comfortable. We appreciated the provided body wash in the shower—a nice touch! Adding shampoo and conditioner would be even better.Finding the front door took a little trial and error, but once we got in, everything else was smooth. Again, we had a great time and appreciated the care put into the space—just a few minor updates would make it even better.
Apartment was super cute. Perfect for a little weekend away. Over night parking was a breeze! Not tons to do in the area but a 5 min drive was all it took to get to a busier area.
