Slip Away to Ocean Gate -

A small town with beautiful views, waterfront boardwalk and great food with in walking distance. Enjoy a spacious place with lots of space for everyone and the pool to enjoy in the summer. Park your car and walk around the town of Ocean Gate. Seaside, Lavallette, Island Beach State Park, Ortley are just a short drive to all that the Jersey Shore has to offer! Lots of great things very close by to visit such as the bay beach, the spray park, outdoor courts, playground, and the Ocean Gate Yacht Club, but also close to shopping, the ocean beach, Island Beach State Park, Barnegat Lighthouse, Great Adventure, Adventures Crossing, sports, etc. Ocean Gate has different events all summer long! Nearby town boat ramp.

A spacious 3000+ square feet of home with 6 rooms to sleep and 4 bathrooms. Room in the kitchen to cook on the 8 burner stove and double oven. Dining room table to fit everyone. Two living rooms - each with a TV. Game room. Porch for puzzles. Outdoor deck. Outdoor side porch. Pool (Unheated, landscape pending).

Private fenced in chlorine pool with self closing gate - 6' deep with shallow end, unheated, steps in and out. Open and maintained Memorial Day to Labor Day.

On Street parking at your own risk first come first serve.

Beach Badges, Parking Badges, Court Badges, Spray Park Badges are available at the Boro Hall or near the Beach entrance.

With in walking distance is the market/deli, pizza place, donut/ice cream shop, Anchor Inn restaurant/bar/packaged goods. Rosies is a couple blocks away, still walkable - especially with the boardwalk. Grocery Store is a short drive.

Bedding and Towels supplied. Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner are not - but the Market is across the street and Shop Rite Grocery Store is a mile away.

My family of my siblings, their significant others and my father all stayed in the property to celebrate my uncles 60th birthday in Ocean Gate. This house was perfect and kept all 9 adults without feeling cramped. We were even able to host our cousins for a first night pizza night. It is right in downtown Ocean Gate. Which is perfect for early morning breakfast runs or late night ice cream. Overall, fantastic experience

Home was the perfect size for our large family! Game room & pool a definite plus for the grandkids. Loved the separate suite, with own spacious living room, bathroom & laundry room. Well stocked kitchen. No need to bring linens & towels. Everything EXCEPTIONALLY clean and thought out with comfort in mind. Nice bay beach and the kids really enjoyed the splash park (All badges for beach & park provided were a plus!) Highly recommend this Ocean Gate rental if you’re looking for a quieter place by the bay. Host Sherri gets 10 out of 10 stars from us!

Excellent house

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The house is very spacious, clean and modern. Very close to the neighborhood deli, pizza and ice cream. The bay beach and splash pad for kids is right down the street as well (many badges were provided). You are a 10 min ride to many things on Route 9 as well- Shop Rite, Dunkin, etc. Sherri suggested L Gourmet for some catering and although I decided not to fully cater, I went in the morning and picked up some side cold salads and they were all delicious. The game room and pool were great amenities as well. Very well stocked kitchen too. The bathrooms were all very nice and towels/linens provided were top notch. I was hosting a family party and picked this house because of the number of bedrooms and ample parking. I didn’t want to leave. Thanks Sherri for sharing your home with us.
