Quaint and spacious, free laundry- garage.. centrally located near 4 restaurants, a coffee house with real ice cream, right next door to a 3 generation bakery..right above a lovely knit and gift shop.. minutes away from Lake Superior and Porcupine Mountains..many waterfalls, bike and hiking trails..5 area ski hills and many miles of groomed snowmobile and ATV trails one block away. Ample parking for trailers...Beautiful sunsets on Sunday Lake boardwalk trails..Might see the Northern Lights on a clear night..

Wonderful place in Wakefield!

Couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations! Nanette is WONDERFUL!! The place was super clean, very nice and cozy. Delicious breakfast next door at the bakery and great sports bar with food 1 block away.

Perfect cozy apartment

This apartment was exactly as described and perfect for 1-2 people. It's in an old building so it has that old fashioned charm with updated looks.

Small town gem

This is a perfect apartment in the heart of a small town. Spotlessly clean, carefully thought out and very comfortable. You won’t be disappointed by this 1 bdr apartment in downtown Wakefield. Comfortable mattress and bedding, good size living room with comfy couch and chairs and your own garage space. Bonus is the bakery next door! Try the cream filled Bismarck’s! Nanette is a responsive and gracious hostess.

Weekend Retreat

Our stay was wonderful! We decided last minute to get away for a couple of days to attend the high graduation party of a relative and celebrate our upcoming anniversary. The rental was perfect for the two of us. There were restaurants within walking distance, as well as right next door! We enjoyed Cooper Peak and the waterfalls of the Black River which were just a short drive away. There was an issue with the heat, but Nannette was on top of it right away. The communication with her was superb! We hope to stay again I. The winter for a snowmobiling weekend!
