Our second stay here, and this again was the perfect weekend getaway. The home was super clean, well stocked, and communication was detailed and quick.
We loved the how close it was to all the attractions. The house, hot tub and pool were all clean and enjoyable. The game room was at hit, it has arcade games for the kids and nice pool table for the adults. There was also air hockey and gaming station upstars, which was nice. Host was very responsive.
The Warbonnet property was everything we could have hoped for. Great location (close to the island and short drive to the outlets), very clean, beautifully decorated. Julie was very quick to respond to messages. Definitely worth the stay. We enjoyed the short vacation away.
Communication regarding arrival was super fast and easy with Julie. Home was clean, and just as described. Location was the thing we loved, being so close to everything. Beds were comfy and the pool was nice and clean. Checkout was also super easy. This home is definitely our first choice for our next trip to the Smoky's!
The stay was not great. I’m not going to include the kitchen cabinets being loose off the hinges. They did offer to repair that but I declined as I didn’t want a repairman during my stay. The pool was very cloudy at best and we paid for the heated option and it was lukewarm at best. The biggest gripe was the a/c. We reached 90 degree temps during our stay and the ac could not stay under 75 at full blast, and the temp upstairs was a constant 80 degrees. Overall it wasn’t a horrible stay but the a/c was a big issue.
I give you the code to the padlock on the door, but they locked the door with the key and locked the key and a padlock and don’t give me the code to that. Most the doors and the cabin look disgusting cabinet door hinges come off nails and screws all over the place, even found one in the hot tub, that slimy, cloudy and foamy. Smoke alarm in the basement was laying on the table heater to the inside pool had the fuse pulled other people in the cabins around us. I also had the same problem about being locked out when they arrived even hours after check-in time, people building and painting, the places said they had nothing but trouble. Hard to communicate with anybody in charge, they don’t give numbers to get a hold of anybody.
I booked the property for 4 adults and 1 child. The child is a toddler (4 years old) and because of bedtime I always book a room for them. This house is listed as a 3 bedroom. I confirmed that 2 of the bedrooms were on the same floor as we did not want the toddler on a separate floor. Was told they were so I booked. When we arrived 1 bedroom was on main floor, 1 bedroom was on the next floor with a bed in the loft area with no door, no closet only a trundle double bed. This made sleeping arrangements very difficult and I would not have booked if description was accurate. The pool is not heated so we were unable to enjoy it. We experienced maintenance issues which were resolved some what timely. We also experienced cleanliness issues and the management company offered to send the cleaning crew out however we were already cleaning. With these issues I was offered a late check out (2 extra hours) and a 10% discount on a future stay. There will be no future stay so I was offered a 10% refund. The location is good however the description and cleanliness was not as it should be
