Incredible place for a family to stay! The lake and the dock provide endless hours of fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming. The house has plenty of room to spread out and is well equipped. A perfect pace to lay low and create memories!

Fabulous getaway in rural Audrain County. Clear water for swimming/fishing and ideal for scuba diving, quiet, superb outdoor deck and fire pit. Clean, well decorated and practical. Ideal for a "home away from home" stay.

This place was wonderful. There was enough space for my big family and plenty to do and enjoy around us. Beautiful country setting with relaxing surroundings. The kids went swimming and we used to boats and fishing poles. Everything was amazing and we definitely plan to make this a yearly trip!

Fantastic Stay!

My family and I couldn't have been happier with our stay. Maggie was great to deal with, and the property was PERFECT for our family visiting our son at MMA. We enjoyed the lake, the firepit, and the proximity to town while being out in the country on a lake—idyllic! My family and I booked two more stays before we left the property, and we would've booked a third stay if it had been available on the dates we'll be around. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

Home Away From Home

A group of my colleagues and I are based in IL and MI, but we have to spend a lot of time at our company's plant in Mexico, MO between now and the end of 2025. The house is perfect for us, allowing us to have a more comfortable home-like feel. It's clean, well appointed and a great place to be. To have the lake is brilliant, with several of us being fishermen, swimmers and boaters. After a day in 95 plus degree heat in the foundry, this is the place to be. The large covered deck and firepit are also ideal for hanging out and we plan to take more advantage of these over the next few weeks. In a nutshell, fantastic.

Great property

We stayed at the blue lake property for my daughters wedding weekend! It was perfect! Very private, clean and has a beautiful lake! Even though we didn't get to spend much time here it was fantastic! Maggie our host was wonderful! She even left a little gift for us at check in! I can't say enough good things about her! We had a couple issues come up with VRBO (nothing that she did) and she communicated quickly to help get everything resolved! Thank you Maggie for making this a stress-free weekend for my family! I would highly recommend this property!
