Welcome to the Lakeside Mansion, a 1.5 acre waterfront oasis situated right on Lake Elsinore in sunny Southern California with its own gated, private, sandy, water front beach with private launch ramp. This Mediterranean Villa is centrally located between LA, Orange County, San Diego and Big Bear Mountain. This is a very rare property that allows events!

The area is known for wineries, motor sports & great antique shopping!

THE SPACE

The Lakeside Mansion is separated into 3 sections, the Main House, Bunk House and Guest House. It allows small group up to 16 people to use the Main House only, but gives bigger groups option to rent the Bunk House and Guest House for an additional charge.

The 6500 sq ft Main House sleeps 16.

Cook for your large group in the entertainer's kitchen with a 22' island, two sinks, and a large walk-in pantry.

The master bedroom in the Main House is located upstairs on its own wing with an impressive bathroom with a steam shower, jetted tub and walk in closet. The master also offers its own private covered patio to take in the exceptional views of the lake and mountains.

Relax and have fun in the large game room that includes a ping pong table, pool table, fridge with wet bar, a piano and lots of fun games. The large laundry room has an extra large washer and dryer to tackle all the dirty clothes that comes with the fun your party has.

The house has 1 ,70" TV and 1, 50" TV's and 2 30" TV's with Netflix and Hulu.

The spacious open family room has 30 ft ceilings and plenty of room for your whole party.

The outdoor deck and balconies all have water views and boast a fire pit, large outdoor dining table & lounge chairs & outdoor TV's.

There is a small gym in the house so you can keep up on your workouts even on a rainy day! Guests 18 and over only.

THE GROUNDS

In the front is a beautiful garden and behind the house is a fenced in lawn overlooking the sprawling sandy beach with a volleyball net & tetherball. There is a private boat launch.

We provide kayaks and S.U.P. boards for fun on the lake, an outdoor glass BBQ, plenty of seating for lounging and dining.

If you use the BBQ please clean it after use and be sure gas is off

Please clean up before you leave, gather up all bedding (sheets/blankets) towels and put in laundry room, if furniture was moved please put it back, please place all dishes in dish washer and start it. Place trash in the trash dispenser. All trash should be out of house and in trash cans outside.

Please leave the property in the manner as when you arrived, neat and tidy

The property is stunning, starting in the beautiful front of the mansion with enough parking for a big group, then a wonderful living room/kitchen/play room/gym and comfortable size bedrooms. Then the gorgeous backyard and lake. A perfect venue for our Mother's 90th Birthday. The mansion is beautiful during the day and dramatic during the night. We had the perfect choice of venue for the occasion. All our guests were happy and asking how they can also book this lakeside mansion.

Muslim sisters retreat

Loved the lakeside mansion for our Muslim women's retreat! It was private and spacious and clean! Only thing was, the fan remote had been lost so it was cold in the living room and some of the beds made some noise but other than that, great experience!

We had an amazing experience at this property. The space was enormous and regal, offering the perfect setting for our event. The view of the lake, especially during the sunrise, was breathless! The property manager, Daniel, was incredibly responsive and helpful, promptly answering our numerous questions. The highlight of the experience was Daniel's outstanding assistance when we accidentally left a bag behind—he went above and beyond to ensure we got it back. Great property for large groups, especially with the bunkhouse. Great view of the lake with a nice backyard and big porch for hanging out. Furniture and decor is a little dated but in relatively good condition.

Wonderful for our family vacation

The property was Ideal for my large family, very clean, kept us very comfortable during the extreme heat wave.It is well stocked with plenty of towels, pillows. The kitchen is well equipt for large groups. We enjoyed the game room and had our family pool and ping pong tournaments.The lake with the kayaks and paddle boards were enjoyed by all ages, This was our 2nd year and hopefully we will have a third.

This is our second year using this location for our leadership retreat. It is great for large groups. Has plenty of beach toys and outdoor fun, sleeps all of us, has a large kitchen and plenty of cooking/kitchen supplies. We love this location and highly recommend!

Wonderful place!!

We loved the property. Lynnette was an excellent manager. She was very understanding and courteous. I also had a good feeling about the owner although I never met him. They were well organized. The only suggestion is that I wished that they had shower gel/shampoo. Didn’t realize that they didn’t carry it until I had hopped in the shower :). But other than that, we had the best times of our lives!! Great place for any events or water activities. We had a blast!!

2022 Youth Retreat

Great Place to Host a Large Group

To summarize our stay, this venue is a fantastic fit for hosting large groups. It's very spacious and built to accommodate a large crowd with ease. Pros: Plenty of sleeping space (massive bunk rooms). Plenty of seating throughout the mansion (tables and chairs). Great layout that accommodates a comfortable stay for dozens without feeling the least bit crowded. Gorgeous view of the water. Fun game room. Lots of room for parking. Spacious lawn and beach. Private feel. Large televisions. Massive, comfortable couch. Responsive management. Just a few cons from our stay. Most of these are quite minor: When we arrived there was a considerable amount of trash leftover from the previous tenants and some general messes that weren't cleaned up. One of the slider screens was also broken. When it came to the kitchen, the stove was missing its main burner, one of the two coffee makers was broken, and while there were two ovens they were both a bit smaller than typical ovens, so if someone were to trying to cook a meal for a larger group and needed to use the ovens, it could be difficult to time it all out correctly. All that said, we informed the manager on many of these and they were thankful to hear these things, responsive to us, and apologetic, which we were grateful for. Of course, this is a very large place and so maintaining it is a large undertaking, but the ownership and management really seem to care about doing a great job. Overall, this place would easily meet the need for hosting a large group comfortably.

Family Retreat/Getaway

THis property was great for our get away, and communication with Lynette was amazing. We had 25 people all 18 and up stay for our family getaway. From my 85 year old mo, to my 18 year old niece. Everyone enjoyed it. Although we were there in the rain, there was enough to do in the house that made the stay great. The pool table, and ping pong table were used a great deal. We even held a Chopped Family style with 4 cooks in the kitchen and the kitchen had plenty of room! Thanks for a memorable trip Lynette and team! We might need to make it an annual event!

Great big home...with deficiencies...

I just finished a family reunion at the Lakeside Mansion and the home offered a lot of what we needed to have a successful reunion. It is huge, it is beautiful, and it comes with plenty of amenities. However, this house recently changed ownership & the house/owners aren't honestly prepared for the ways the house is used. We planned to arrive on Wednesday night. I had to message the owner via the app after check in time to obtain check in instructions. He informed me that the property manager would be there to let us in & show us the property but only until 4:30. Most of us weren't available until closer to 5:00 so that didn't work (he then gave us the entry code). After arriving that evening, there were 40+ of us, we had the inevitable issues that arise with a large group and a large house, nothing major, but several important concerns. I reached out to the owner via the VRBO app & to the property manager via a phone # left in the instructions at the house. I received NO response & followed up the following morning. I discovered that the property manager was unavailable after 5:00, which if check in is 4:00 is completely unacceptable. Eventually I was able to communicate directly with the owner via text and communication issues were resolved. From there the house generally pleased me & my family. There are plenty of small issues from some door locks not working, to holes in walls/doors, to issues with the stove malfunctioning (although my handyman bro-in-law was able to fix it). Honestly just a lot of small things that would be common in a house of that size after years of not being properly maintained. When I asked the owner about issues to fix, he WAS very responsive and worked to take care of it. That said, when spending thousands of dollars on a rental home, I don't love playing the role of maintenance coordinator. Despite these issues, my family had a great time at the house and upon leaving we agreed we would rent it again if given the opportunity. Hopefully this new owner will be able to get all the issues taken care of and fixed in the near future.

Perfect for large group & events

We had an amazing weekend at this property with a group of almost 50 of us. It fit all of us comfortably, was cool, clean, and just perfect for us. Manager was great and everything we needed for a fun weekend was there (kayaks, volleyballs, corn holes, large kitchen with everything we needed to cook and serve meals). Highly recommend for large groups. It is right on the lake so bring bug spray and sun block. We would love to go back to this location once a year if possible! Love, love love.
