About this property
Lovely 3BR 2BA 2 level condo in great Georgetown location (31 day min)
Walkability Index: 94, Transit Score: 75, Bike Score: 87
This is a recently renovated modern townhome in the midst of historic Georgetown. It's 1000 SF, 2-levels. The location couldn't be more convenient! The complex has entrances on both M St (the major commercial street in Georgetown), and charming Prospect Street (restaurants). This unit is located near the top of the complex where it enjoys plentiful sunlight on the entry level.
The main floor of the townhome has a full kitchen with dishwasher, an open sitting and dining area, wall mounted large smart TV, and a full bath with shower. A bedroom with a queen bed, closet organizers, and work space is on this level.
The lower level has 2 rooms, one bedroom has a double bed, work space, closet with organizers, and sliding door access to the patio. The smaller room currently has a queen bed, dresser, and closet with organizers. The rooms are separated by full bathroom with a shower/tub combination and a new stacking washer and dryer. The patio has seating for 4 so one can enjoy reading, working, entertaining, or dining alfresco.
LOCATION: With a walk-ability index of 94 out of 100 you can walk to everything you might need from this fantastic location in the heart of Georgetown. Eton Court opens onto M Street, the main commercial thoroughfare through historic Georgetown. Walk to restaurants, bakeries, cafes, take out. You are just a few blocks to the Key Bridge for easy access to the Metro station and Rosslyn. A foot bridge from M St leads across the C&O Canal to connect you to the Capitol Crescent bike trail and the canal tow path which runs for 100 miles. (Senator John Kennedy and his wife Jackie were living just a block away on N Street when he was elected President.)
This is a turn-key property, just bring your suitcase and laptop. Fully outfitted, the condo will have clean towels, sheets and all of the kitchen amenities you might want during your stay: oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, all dishes and glassware. A stacking washer and dryer is in unit. Strong WIFI and a smart TV for streaming.
Convenient access to all Georgetown and Washington DC attractions. Walking distance to the best Georgetown restaurants and shopping or take the Circulator bus ($1 to get anywhere in DC) or walk to Foggy Bottom or Rosslyn metros within 20 minutes to explore the rest of the city. Restricted street parking is available, there are paid garages along M St to keep your car.
NEIGHBORHOOD
Georgetown is so immaculate, it's difficult to find cracks in its sidewalks. Brightly colored awnings swing above the couture cupcake shops and dog biscuit bakeries that shade its idyllic main street. Off Georgetown's bustling thoroughfare, historic row homes (and historically rowdy frat houses) tuck themselves into cobblestoned hills. Even though the neighborhood is older than DC itself, Georgetown manages to feel young with help from its nearby university students.
- Georgetown University: 3 blocks,
- Georgetown Cupcakes, Chipotle, Quick Pita: 1 block,
- Northface, West Elm, GAP, H and M: 2 blocks
