We had a pleasant 4 day stay. This trip was for our daughter's birthday. She loved the cabin and still talks about it. The cabin was tidy and well equipped. The location is secluded with a short and scenic drive into town. If we're ever back in the area, we would certainly stay here.
We were up visiting family and was a perfect place for a 3 day getaway. Was easy to get to and close to everything.
Very happy with everything !
Emily was very pleasant and got back with me when I had a question about something!!
This has been one of the best stays we ha e ever had! The cabin was so clean and cozy! The kids loved the loft and there was plenty to keep them occupied! The location was quiet and we took walks up the road and into the woods for beautiful views! Our hosts were kind and considerate and promptly answered all my questions. We plan to go back in the near future. Very satisfied! everywhere
This cabin is top notch. VERY clean. Don't know how old it is but swear it must be brand new. We really appreciated the stocked cabinet!!!! We only bunked there for the night but would love to come back again when we can spend time at the beautiful Lake Penneseewassee (hopefully I spelled it correctly) just a stone's throw away.

Hi! My name is Emily. I own this home with my husband, Austin. We currently live here in Maine with our two dogs, Oliver and Willow. We both love all things home improvement and love that we can share our home and the work we’ve done with our guests!
Why they chose this property
We looked for a home for over a year before we found this cabin! and from the first time I saw the listing I was sold! When we arrived at the cabin for the first time we fell in love with the front porch and how cozy the space was. As we explored the area, we learned all about the town of Norway and the surrounding area. There is so much to do in there, that we knew it was the perfect getaway spot. The neighborhood is very peaceful, the street we are on has the most amazing views and we could not be happier with the cabin and the location. Now we are lucky enough to share our cabin with you.
What makes this property unique
The location. You are minutes away from multiple lakes, downtown Norway, hiking trails, snowmobiling trails and so much more, yet you are in the most peaceful place. It’s quiet, set back from the street, nestled into the trees, and located on a dirt road with amazing views. Inside the cabin, it is a true cedar log cabin with elements including, exposed spruce tie beams, white cedar trim, walls, and cathedral ceilings. A true testament to the true craftsmanship of a Ward Cedar Home. You'll find a hand-crafted ladder to the upper sleeping loft, and a hidden door to the basement in the master bedroom. (Hidden behind the bookcase!) My favorite part of the cabin is the covered front porch! Rain, snow, or shine, I love to sit out there and listen to the sounds of nature, read a book, drink my coffee, or enjoy an evening cocktail. Grab a blanket and a hot chocolate in the winter for a true Hallmark movie moment as you watch the snow fall and listen to the silent crisp sound of the falling snow!
