About this property

Private two bedroom apartment in safe and popular neighborhood, Brooklyn

Pristine private entire 2 bedroom apartment. Stylish and clean with fully equipped kitchen and two separate bedrooms, as well as a futon/sofa-bed in the living room. The locations is close to everything you could possibly need or want in one of the most popular quaint neighborhoods in Brooklyn.

Windsor Terrace is small enclave (a sub-section of famous Park Slope) nestled between two huge and historic green spaces, Prospect Park (Olmstead and Vaux's true masterpiece) and Greenwood Cemetery (you should take the tour if you can!). It is a old-timey Brooklyn neighborhood that has retained it's small-town feel while influenced by just the right amount of Brooklyn-hipsterness. Within 2-5 blocks of this apartment there's everything you could possibly need -- the essentials (groceries, delis, Walgreens, bank, post office) as well as a variety of acclaimed restaurants and pubs. The 15th Street F train stop is a short picturesque 7 minute walk -- and takes you to Manhattan as well as other fun Brooklyn neighborhoods. For those who have a car, street parking is unusually abundant on this block and there is convenient access to major thoroughfares.

This is a second floor walk-up in a Brooklyn town-house. There is a very modest shared roof-deck, nothing that glamorous but affords some desired "outdoor space" for city living. The well-equipped galley kitchen has open-layout into a cozy living room. There is a large bedroom with a double/full bed and a smaller bedroom which has a twin/single bed. Though best suited for three guests, this apartment can accommodate 4 with a futon/sofa-bed in the living room (the apartment is small though, so please look at the floor plan and photos to decided if that works for you.) There is an extra $20/night fee for extra guests (over three guests).

NOTE: For your security and safety, we have exterior security cameras on the property!

Wonderful experience!
This apartment was cute, clean, comfortable and satisfied all our needs during our 5 day stay. It was nicely decorated and had all the amenities described in the listing. We found it convenient to the subway. We found many wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood, all within a few blocks of our apartment. Sheila was very helpful in every step of planning our trip and our stay in Brooklyn. I would stay there again if we return to New York and I would recommend this property to any of my family or friends.

I am mom and an artist. Came to Brooklyn for my BFA at Pratt in Fine Arts and decided to hang around for a while. I have been accommodating tenants for over two decades. I've enjoyed renovating and decorating my two Brooklyn townhouses with my very handy and creative husband, Rick.

Why they chose this property

I raised my children here in Windsor Terrace, and I've watch the neighborhood flourish into a somewhat hipper version of itself, while still retaining its old-timey charm. It's perfect. I'm sure you will love it too!

What makes this property unique

There is a washer and dryer available for your use in the basement. There is a modest very casual shared roof deck. All the conveniences you need are within 2-5 blocks. And the walking around the neighborhood is lovely. Trees do grow in Brooklyn!
