About this property

Scenic peaceful rural area and tastefully decorated comfy home. Full kitchen.

Tastefully furnished Home equipped with numerous extras. Examples include a split king size Sleep number bed for you to adjust to your comfort level and position, a full kitchen with many extra appliances not generally found at a rental such as hot air fryer, vita mixer, waffle iron, panini press, and soda stream. The living room furniture is all adjustable for relaxing comfort, the lower level boasts a pool table, a shuffleboard, an air hockey table and a pinball machine, exercise room has a top notch elliptical. This summer you will be able to puruse the garden for a bouquet of flowers, or pick cucumbers, tomatoes and zucchini to create a marvelous gazpacho. The dining room table can extend to seat 10 for that fabulous dinner you just created. Finish your evening with a half mile walk to the ice cream shop, or dance to the live bands on Wednesday and Sunday pms. Or play some relaxing music throughout the house with the surround sound cd player.
This home is just a half mile from Clark Lake and one block off Spirit Trail which is a 7 mile trail that circles Clark Lake. Bring your boat and enjoy the lake as public access is also just half mile.

In addition to the four bedrooms there is an office that can be closed off for a remote workspace. Xfinity wi-Fi as well as cable is provided. There are three televisions - living room , kitchen and lower level. Streaming services include Netflix and Prime.

There is an eat in kitchen. The washer and dryer are on main floor at entry to the garage. There is a two car garage not accessible and all parking is requested to be outside in driveway.

Because of the 4 bedrooms plus futon this home is excellent for small gatherings such as a girls weekend as well as family gatherings. Three of the bedrooms do not require stairs. This home is NOT handicap accessible however as there are three steps at the main as well as side entrance. DO KNOW THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE AND SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED INDOORS.

My husband and I do live in this home during part of year and we ask you treat it with respect. We have had much experience in managing a VRBO lake home some 15 years or so ago. We currently are retired and enjoy traveling therefore we are open to both short term as well as long term rentals.

Amazing stay

Patricia was a great Host the house was exactly as was in the pictures and she tried to make our stay there as smooth as possible she asked as what kind of coffee we like so she can have it in the house and when we asked her to stay one more night she immediately said yes and helped as make the arrangement to stay one more day. It was a lovely stay. Thank you, we definitely would stay there again

Everything went smoothly getting checked in. Kitchen was fully functional and worked well for what we needed. Bedrooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Nice family areas including game area which we used several evenings to wind down our days. We spent most of our time away from the house but it was a nice base to come and go from. We appreciate the use of the home. Thank you

Great stay for NASCAR weekend

We came to the area from Arkansas to attend the NASCAR races over the weekend. This house is an easy 12-minute drive away from the track, and the route took us right to general parking. It was incredibly easy to get in and out of the track. We were out and about a lot, but the house is perfect for a group. It was well-maintained and clean and the accommodations were quite good. The doughnuts waiting for us in the kitchen were a nice touch. I will stay here next time I’m in the area. Great place to stay!!

we have enjoyed living in this house for the past 15 years, in fact, my husband started the small subdivision and the street is named after me. We are now traveling a great deal and therefore we thought we would make our lovely home available to others when we are away.

Why they chose this property

There are 6 houses in this little sub, but it was all started by my husband Woody way back in 2006. We love how we see the deer in our yard - except when they eat the hostas.

What makes this property unique

The lower level equipped with recreational items, the fully equipped kitchen and the ability to bring your dog makes this home quite unique.
