Beautiful one bedroom and one bathroom apartment, located on the second floor of a nice building on Sunrise Dr.
Tiles installed through the apartment rooms, king bed in the master bedroom and the living room has queen sofa bed and a twin bed. We have a pack & play if you need for a baby.
The master bedroom has a walking closet.
The kitchen includes all the appliances, refrigerator stove oven etc
Private resident beach access is down the street and the key for the beach is included, one umbrella and chairs.
The building is located in front of a supermarket, bank and restaurants. The building also features a pool and a parking space.
The apartment has wifi, television and a local phone.

A different occupant was in the apartment when we arrived; we had booked and paid for what was supposed to be an empty place for us to stay in for one night. The owner refused to refund my money and VRBO didn't help either. Endless. Nightmare.

This is a very cute and clean apartment. Nice location can walk to stores, shops and beach. However air conditioning did not work well. It was 75 degrees inside the apartment and only went down after 2 days to 69. Thank goodness it wasn’t extremely hot out. Also the livingroom tv did not work. The tv turned on but it had to do with internet. Texted host right away but never heard from anyone. Would stay in the area again but not with this host.

The appartment is nice and clean. Access to the beach is great. Laundry room is also a big plus. Supermarket across the road is useful. But for a family with 2 teens, it is a bit tiny.

Great property/location but health hazard

This was our second stay at this rental. It is a clean, well appointed unit in a terrific location. Both my wife and I developed a persistent cough with wheezing early into our week stay and finally realized it was related to the air conditioning ventilation that we had not needed as much during our last stay. The vents looked like they had not been cleaned for a long time which was confirmed after I inspected the air filter that was encased in a thick brown colored layer of unspecified debris.

Short stay on the key

Perfect location for access to shops and all points KB village. Ample room for 2 people. Some blades on the slatted windows (kitchen and bedroom) were missing seals and had open gaps. Might be why th AC was running constantly... Also those windows are missing screens - Hopefully that gets addressed.

We loved this little place!

This apartment was just as promised. Less than a block from the only grocery store on the island. A block from the beach. Quiet. A really comfortable bed! And Best yet, right behind our daughter’s family’s home! We love Key Biscayne and come here several times a year. I would highly recommend this apartment.

You need a new provider for your Internet & TV as we had no service four nights including our last night and following morning. I don't understand why there were different channels working in each room.

Exceptional Location, Great Property and Great Host.

My wife and I spent a week at this great facility at exceptional location. The property was clean, bright, comfortable and within a few blocks of the beach. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the beach every morning. The host was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed biking, kayaking, running and swimming. We will return and recommend this property to our friends.

We were very happy with the apartment

Great second floor property (no elevator!) close to everything within walking distance. Ideally located on the island. Perfect for 2 people. The photos correspond to the apartment.The apartment is cozy. There is enough storage space. The kitchen is well equipped. It's quiet at night, only the air conditioning in the bedroom is a bit too loud in our opinion. In addition, the window did not close completely. The WiFi was very good.The apartment was very clean, there was only dust on the cupboards, door frames, etc., hence only 4 stars.The location was very good. It fits the price-performance ratio. But of course there are even better locations such as: directly on the beach, therefore only 4 stars.We were satisfied and would like to come back.

Florida Vacation

We spent a weekend in Key Biscayne. Our host solved a Wi Fi problem for us. She is excellent to communicate with. We found the beach is close and there are several places to walk to that had good food.

No spice think twice

Been delayed on leaving this review but here you go folks! The only plus this dump has going for it is “Location”…across from a Winn Dixie woo hoo. Seriously the booking process and check-in was simple but that was about it. Once we finally found #31 after walking around the entire complex the and parking and the parking spot designated was in between an F250 and a Huge Trailer we gave up as there was no way to get in it. We felt like we were in a chinatown bungalow there was absolutely no room to put luggage or walk around for that matter. When we left to go somewhere the door wouldn’t even lock there was a note that said “use the blue key” but it was nowhere to be found. I tried calling the numbers on a sheet of paper they left AND text it as well and the only response i got was: Escribame si puede Porque no habla ingles Cual puera no cierra La llave para la llave Ahi van porla atuda Like what is this mess?? This was a waste of our money and time do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!

This property was the perfect size for my husband and I. Beach access was great! You could even sit in the shade if preferred. Very walkable area. My only negative feedback would be the grounds could be better kept up. And the pool needed to be cleaned or vacuumed.

Perfect!!

This place was the perfect little spot. Was less than a 2 minute walk from the grocery store, 5 from the beach, and 5 min drive to state park beach. The pictures had me a little nervous but it was better than it was picture. The couch pulled out into a bed, was thinner typical couch bed. The twin was great and the king bed was as well. We fit 5 adults with ease and the full kitchen was great. They didn’t have pictures of that so was nervous about not having all appliances but it had a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, water kettle, toaster, and plenty of bowls, cups, plates, etc. It also had AC and there was a key for a laundry mat in the building, however we did not use it. There is a large closet also not pictured. Bathroom was a little bit small but was not a problem at all. Check in was super easy, just a pin pad lock that they provide # for prior to your arrival. Could not have been happier with this find!

Perfect Small Condo

Although it was small, it was almost all we needed for a pleasant beach vacation. The location was extremely convenient! It was a quick 10 minute walk to the semi-private beach. Winn-Dixie was less than a 3 minute walk from the condo which was super convenient for grocery shopping! There were several restaurants close by if you would prefer to not make meals at "home." (I highly recommend Mestizo in the Winn-Dixie parking lot. AMAZING!) It was about a 20 minute drive to get to downtown Miami and about half of that drive was across the beautiful causeways. The only real critique is that the beds could use better/more pillows, but overall they were comfy and did the job. The on-site paid laundry was better than nothing, but they were super small and couldn't do much in each load ($1.50 paid via coin or app). Make sure to bring extra towels if you don't want to do laundry mid-trip!

Not what it seems

The location was great. Key Biscayne is a wonderful island and the location of this VRBO is great. The condition of the VRBO is not at all what we expected. The place was not clean. Dust caked up in the vents, on the fire alarms, pictures, etc. The floors definitely could have used a deep clean before we arrived. The bathroom window screen is broken so bugs get in all day and night. Very disappointed in the condition of the place. We brought our two young children with us and this was not the environment for them. VRBO was extremely hard to get a hold of, and unresponsive most of our trip. Would not book again.

Very nice stay

We love Key Biscayne. Our typical rental was not available, so we chose this one for our five night New Year’s Eve stay. It was a little basic, but did the job. We never heard from the owner/manager. Not sure if it was a language barrier or it’s the way they do things. For a first time visitor, some information about KB and the private beach club would be nice. We have been there before so we knew what the key meant and how to get there. Apartment was EXTREMELY clean, which is most important. Bed was very comfortable and shower was nice. Beach chairs are broken- we used once and they are badly rusted and need replacement. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to book again. Thank you for the wonderful way to ring in the New Year.
