Had a very nice stay. The hot tub was a welcome treat after a long day of hiking. The hosts wete super nice.

Great location! Great accommodations! So the property seems a little strange when you arrive. Very hippy-ish. But the rooms are comfortable and clean!!! Each room slept 3 guests comfortably. We were in rooms 5 and 6 with 6 people. There was oatmeal and breakfast bars along with tea and coffee available in the rooms. There were small fridges and a microwave. If you stay on the summer you will need to sleep with the sliding door open there is a screen door. We felt safe and it was a comfortable night. We did have a problem with Vrbo and our reservation but the host was quick to respond and resolve the issue! We would stay there again when visiting volcano national park, the black or green sand beaches on the Big Island!!!

Mahalo nui. We are glad you had a nice stay and we were able to resolve the booking issues on VRBO's end. We are working on some cosmetic changes to the place this year so hopefully you can stay again and see what we have improved! Till then.

The host was amazing. We stayed only one night to visit the volcano. The unit is super close with restaurants nearby.The reason for the 4 of 5 stars is the unit was extremely damp and we were unable to get much sleep. Perhaps we underestimated the jungle but it was as though we were sleeping in a bed a dampness.The unit was clean though, the added breakfast provided was a nice touch as well.
