Quiet and peaceful

We were looking for a private and peaceful place to stay, and Aspen Haus was perfect. Very cute, comfortable, and well-appointed, it had everything we needed, including a hot tub. We loved the setting - in the woods - and being the last cabin on the trail, so it was very private. Would recommend it, and would stay there again.

Quiet setting to unwind, close to trails

Clean cabin, AC worked well, dog welcome, kitchen had everything we needed, close to all the trails, quiet area. This was our second stay here. Relaxing.

Luxuriously quiet and simple.

I have done several quick trips this year, and left every one wishing it had been longer or more restful. Not at Wilder’s Aspen Haus! The simplicity of everything you need, but not much extra was just what I needed. The cottage is very secluded, at the end of the row of cabins. It’s is very cute and comfy, with a modern rustic bent. We were glad there was a Chemex and gooseneck pot, thankful for the chilly AC as the humidity rose when it rained. I’m so grateful for time away, unplugged!

Aspen Haus was a great spot for our romantic weekend getaway! Overall the property was very nice, the hot tub was amazing, and the privacy was 100% our favorite part. The drive to the Hocking Hills visitor center/Old Man's Cave entrance also wasn't very far away. The lack of wifi during our stay wasn't ideal but at least one of us had service. The bed was also extremely creaky but other than those two hiccups, we had an amazing stay! We will absolutely stay here again on future trips to Hocking Hills.

The property and room were beautiful! There are other cabins around but they are placed in a way that makes you feel alone in the woods. Perfect place to unwind and disconnect. The property was 10-20 minutes from most of Hocking Hills trails

It was such a relaxing getaway.

I loved the decor in the cabin, it had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. One small note I will include - the lighting in the cabin was a bit harsh and cool toned, if the lightbulbs are switched for warm tones, that would make the place EVEN more relaxing. We loved using the fire pit and the hot tub, and the bed was very comfortable.

There were pet hairs everywhere on the area rugs and couch! And I mean everywhere! The stove also did not work and sparked! Kinda scary But other than that the experience was amazing! The space was amazing! The house and the experience! But if pets are allowed extra cleaning should be involved for the next guest! Highly recommended

Room was very clean, comfy and spacey. Exactly how it is advertised on VRBO. The kitchen was nice, hot tub was awesome as well. Only complaint was the shower not having hot water.
