Excellent Pool

We had five adults and a three year old and the pool was great. This is a very kid friendly spot to spend time. Unfortunately, we had other issues from the start. I went back and forth with Mareazul, they said they sent it, but finally NAS sent one. I finally got it right before we got on the plane. When we got to the condo the code did not work. They have lots of security which is great, but they could not get it to work either. The next day someone came (never introduced or identified) with a new code and implied that was the code all along, but we were using it wrong before. I did not argue. The coffee pot does not work. There is no soap for the dishwasher and no local stores had any. You get two towels per bedroom per week. For all the add on charges I would have gladly paid for a box with a few washer and dishwasher pods so I could wash towels. I do not know who owns condo, but we never talked to anyone that responded as host. This condo needs some help.

The AC did not work in the main area only and the hot tub did not work at all then they put a floor window unit and it caught on fire.

Great condo, poor service

The condo is beautiful and as advertised in the pictures with great beach views. The beach is really nice and the property provides beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. However, we experienced a few inconveniences and received a poor response. First, we had to wait an hour and a half after check-in time to get into the condo because it was still being cleaned. The satellite TV did not work initially, but fortunately the concierge at the property was able to take care of that. The fridge wasn't working when we arrived and the management company was unresponsive, so we had to contact the owner to get it fixed after two days without a fridge. Finally, part of our security deposit was withheld with "coffee pot" as the only description. I'm still not sure what we were charged for because we didn't use the coffee maker while we were there and when I emailed the owner for a further explanation I didn't get a response. I would also suggest renting a car as the town of Playa, restaurants, etc. are a short drive away and not within walking distance.

We loved staying at Corazón, the location is unbeatable. Everything was perfect. We had an unforgettable vacation, we ended up changing our plans so we could extend it and Matt helped us do this so effortlessly. We simply didn´t want to leave. Thanks again!

We moved from Boston to Playa del Carmen, Mexico in 2008 and we haven't looked back since. We came originally on vacation and saw the opportunity to open a successful property management company. Within 3 months of returning from vacation we had quit our jobs, sold everything (except our condo and car) and drove 4,500 miles from Boston to Playa with our 2 miniature schnauzers. We absolutely love Mexico. The food is fantastic - we eat out often, enjoying a variety of cuisines in one of a kind establishments, most of which are within walking distance of our condo. We have formed a large circle of friends, mostly retired expats, and even host Thanksgiving with usually more than 50 attendees! For Halloween a group of 20+ friends come over, all dressed in costume and we hit 5th Avenue and hand out candy to all the children. It is the most fun day of the entire year! When we are not working, Matt enjoys working out, reading, playing bridge, cooking gourmet meals and visiting the beach. Mareazul is a short drive from Cancun Airport and only 10 minutes from downtown Playa del Carmen.
