The house was very nice and clean. Stocked beyond belief, everything was there that we could have wanted. Luc was great with communication. For sure would recommend. The cats were a bonus, but don't let them in. We didn't, but they sure wanted to come inside.

Unique older home with lots of craftsmanship noticeable throughout. Home has a lived in feel so it is not antiseptic feeling. It was like staying at a friends house, while they were away for the week. Loved all the art displayed throughout the house.

Lovely host
I had a little difficulty with the lockbox (user error!) when I arrived and Luc immediately came over to let me in. He was very gracious and showed me around the house to make me feel welcome.
My group was working at the convention center all weekend, but it was so nice to come back to a very comfortable house in a pretty quiet area outside of the crazy convention area! Haha The house doesn't have ac, but there are plenty of fans provided to keep you cool, and the house gets a nice breeze if you open up some doors/windows.

Thank you Ashley! You’re welcome to book our home anytime and very glad that your stay was comfortable. Hope to have you here again. Blessings.
We were not expecting the place to be lived in. If that was in the description, we missed it. Owners were not there during our stay but it was obvious someone lives there when not rented out. We were expecting a property solely used as a vacation rental. Price and availability was a deciding factor for us. Given the choice, I would not choose to stay here again. It just wasn’t what we prefer or expected.
The house looked like the owners packed a bag for the weekend the day we arrived. The kitchen stove top was greasy, kitchen had moldy potatoes, and the fridge and freezer were full of left overs and owners food. We had no where to put our groceries for the weekend. There were spider webs in the corners of the ceiling in almost ever room, and the tub in the bathroom would drain unless you pried the plug out of the tub.
The owner was nice enough however let his cleaning lady do all the talking. She acted like she owned the property and was extremely rude.

A VRBO guest before Jason loved renting the home.
Even with Jason’s complaints, the cleaning lady arrived to take care of him and his family. We offered them a free weekend stay based on his complaints and to keep his family safe without a place. No one on our end was rude when the rental was offered for free and the cleaning lady told Jason’s wife that she wished for them to be safe and stay, as it was late, and they had already been in the home for more than 5 hours before cancellation.
We think because the home is very artistic, perhaps Jason was embarrassed and uncomfortable in front of his family due to being unable to work the unique knobs for the bathtub, some light switch locations, and thus damaging the bathtub and shower knobs. We never complained to him, only attempted to be hospitable and find happy solutions to their complaints - including the free stay as our guests.
