Tims Ford Lake Access Detached Home, Lynchburg, TN

Lost Creek Retreat - A spacious secluded 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath home in the woods with access to Tims Ford Lake. We have hi speed internet with streaming. We offer the use of our private dock and a place to dock your personal boat on the side, not undercover though. Our cove is a mile long with very calm waters. To get to main lake body, you have to go thru a 9'6" wide causeway. The height is a problem for boats with towers, unless they are retractable. If there are any questions about this, please contact me. The home is a perfect romantic getaway or a great place to gather with friends and family. 20 mi from Shelbyville, Walking Horse Celebration. 3 miles from downtown Lynchburg where so much history is to be explored. Visiting Jack Daniels Distillery is a must. We also have George Dickle and Prichards Distillery close by. Bear Trace Golf Course, Tims Ford State Park is 8 miles away. Since Tims Ford Lake is controlled by TVA, we loose our water around the dock in the wintertime. November to March.

Our basic set rate is set for 2 guest. Anything over 2 guest is $20 a night per person x length of reservation.

We loved it. The kids enjoyed it too. They wanted to stay another night. I loved the way the cabin looked. It was beautiful. It had everything we needed. The Jacuzzi was nice, also. We all loved it. We love the seclusion being in the woods and on the lake. We enjoy the lake and kayaking the rivers in the summer. We ride our horses when it's too cold for the water. I've had this land for 42 years and have enjoyed the serenity of this area. We are happy to share our piece of heaven with our guest.

Why they chose this property

Private area with private boat dock access on Tims Ford Lake. In addition to being a safe recreational boating lake, Tim's Ford is an outstanding, year-round fishing lake for stripers and smallmouth bass. Its reputation for trophy striper and smallmouth fishing extends several hundred miles. Major bass and striper tournaments are held on the lake annually. The lake is also ideally suited for the angler that just wants to relax and catch a few catfish or bluegills. Mallard ducks, Canadian geese, bald eagles, deer, wild turkey, and other kinds of wildlife can be seen while boating on this beautiful 10,000 acre lake. Take a day and visit Jack Daniel's Distillery and have lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's. Bear Trace Golf Course is only 8 miles away.
