The Blue Roof Cottage @ Cottages on Petite Lake

This charming cottage has 3 bedrooms with a beautiful loft bedroom and two full baths. Equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway: a well-stocked kitchen, bath essentials, wrap-around deck and private yard with a grill and fire pit. More pictures coming soon!

Free resort amenities include: the beach and pier, kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, floating picnic table, water volleyball, large rooftop deck, herb garden, library in a tree, & more!

Rental boat available too- just ask for more info!

-This cottage does not have direct lake views, but is just a quick walk up the driveway to access the beach, docks and rooftop deck with stunning lake views.

-The Gray Cottage has a private grill and fire pit, but there's also a grill, griddle and outdoor fireplace available for everyone on the rooftop unless it's rented for a private event.

-The cottage has a split AC/heat system that is controlled with a remote control.

-This is a pet-friendly cottage. There is an additional cleaning fee of $50/pet. Please only bring friendly, well-behaved dogs as this is a resort and other people may be around.

-Dogs may not be left alone, especially outside, in common areas, or in the cottage. If left alone in the cottage, a crate is mandatory.

-Pets must be kept on a leash when outside and they are not allowed on the beach or in shared spaces, unless everyone in that space is okay with it. As much as we might love dogs, not everyone does. Please be considerate of those with allergies or fears.

-Pick up after your pet every single time. Poop bags provided!

Cozy cottage is perfect for Northern Illinois and Wisconsin adventures

We were in town visiting nearby family and needed some extra space. The Blue Roof Cottage met our needs perfectly providing a clean and comfortable space to eat and sleep. My kids loved the spiral staircase and loft. While we didn’t take advantage of the outdoor amenities like the beach, I can see how that would be a great summer (swimming) or winter (ice skating) activity.

Great find!

Booked a last-minute overnight for my wife and I, with our 2 college “kids”… wanted some family time before schools started. The owners accommodated our last-minute request and were great hosts. We were able to rent the pontoon the afternoon of our arrival and use kayaks the next morning… the lake is wonderful! The cottage was well-supplied and every need seemed met!
