This is the first time we've booked on Vrbo. The property was as described and shown in the photos, clean and well equipped. This is a very private property, and so very close to the state park. I wish we could have stayed one more night! To plan better for your trip- find the cabin and check in while it's still daylight! Cell service in the area is limited, so you may not have service on your 'maps'...our Garmin had a better satellite connection. If staying on the weekend- Saturdays are the busiest days in the park, and we strongly suggest that you make your dinner reservations for the restaurants in Logan.

My son and I had a great experience here. Loved how secluded and tucked away the cabin was from the road. We had a blast playing the infinity board and watching movies. We liked everything about our visit to Havenwood. That being said, I would offer a few suggestions to the owners of the property. When we do trips like these, I like to make dinner the first night, since we have been driving a distance to get there. I also like to cook a hearty breakfast before hiking in the park. You need to get a new set of pots and skillets! The ones in the cabin were very old, and had very scratched Teflon coating. I also would have liked a dishpan or rubber mat in the sink for washing dishes. I also like Dawn dish liquid in addition to Dawn foam. I would also like a dishcloth and some Barkeepers Friend to really clean the twin sinks. Other than those few things, everything else was great--the computer game board, the hill to make a fire & watch the sunset, the hot tub, etc.

This cabin was very clean, cozy and convenientlylocated.We had a few maintenance things come up during our stay but the owner was very responsive and helpful. Check in was easy and the owners provide all of the info you need for a great stay. We appreciated how easy the fireplace was to use and the hot tub was great. The gametable was a huge hit for our kids and we had a lot of fun with it.

Fantastic place

My sister and I really liked how close so many things were: Hocking Hills State Park, hiking trails, wineries, and town. We loved soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking! I'm very sensitive to smells and this home smelled clean and new. We had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed the covered porch and suggest everyone order rain for your final night's stay to enjoy the hottub surrounded by rain sounds.
