Bottom of the barrel. This property did not represent itself accurately in its photos. But worse than that, it was only nominally clean:The furniture was clearly cast off stained and dirty. Blinds streaked and dirty.Freezer dirty.Shower basin dirty, curtain moldy.Kitchen cabinets held closed with cardboard.No TVs as shown in pictures. TV in livingroom did not work at all.No handsoap in the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom. Mismatched single towels provided, no hand cloths or washcloths. There were no top sheets on any of the beds. Most of the pillows were made of concrete. There were cobwebs on the extraordinarily steep stairs, which WERE NOT PICTURED or noted in the description or pictures of this place. The dining room chairs were again- stained and dirty, one of which had an unscrewed broken leg, which, if anyone had sat down on clearly would’ve broken off and they would’ve fallen. The landlord on request dropped off more towels for us. The worst part of this is that this place is literally around the corner from one of my relatives, who we visit frequently, and we would’ve used this place again and again if it resembled anything normal or nice. I do not recommend this place.

Convenient location - Great home base

Our family of 8 traveled to NY for the first time and booked this home for our stay. It was very conveniently located and served as a great home base for our trip. We appreciated the easy access off the freeway, and AC units in each room, which cooled the home quickly at the end of a long, hot day of sightseeing. Also, since we were staying in this home, it made more sense for us to visit Ellis and Liberty Islands from the NJ pier, rather than the more popular Battery Park pier in NY. This saved us several hours of waiting in lines and allowed to see and do so much more with our limited time. The kitchen and linen supplies were rather sparse, but it served our needs and provided a great space for a large group to stay.

Our stay was from 4/10-4/12 however we left a day early. When we arrived we noticed hair in the tub and the tub was dirty. There was left over half empty full size and travel shampoo and body wash left in the tub. There was crumbs in one of the beds. There was no trash bags in the trashcan in the kitchen. The sugar for the coffee was left in a red cup not covered. My husband couldn’t fit in the shower because it was super small. And no he is not big just tall. I’m 5’2 and could barely fit. The bedroom downstairs was clearly a patio at one point that is now converted into a bedroom which was cold. The sliding glass is still on there. There are tv mounts in every room with no tv attached. While we were headed outside to get in the car that Saturday morning some random man walked right pass us on the property and went through a back door. I’m assuming he was the owner however he never said anything. We left a day early because we want comfortable sleeping there another night.
