We enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely and clean. Our host was very easy to get a hold of and our check in was easy. The kitchen had everything we needed for our two day stay We would stay here again.
We spent the holiday weekend at this property. The house is in a great neighborhood that is local to lots of activities and restaurants in the area. The host was very communicative and willing to help.
House was very nice. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the host/owner. The guy is paranoid. Always txting me about people who he sees going in or out of the house. ( Ring camera.) we rented the place for 3 nights. The seven of us had 3 rolls of TP. 5 bath towels. There were beach like towels for the hot tub. Take my advice find another house the stay was unpleasant. Would never go back air recommend
I couldn't get entry information until 10 PM, owner difficult to communicate with for several reasons, largely seems like a language barrier. Old food in fridge, trash cans half full, door jam busted out in one of the bedrooms and owner denied all of this. Said he's gonna come by and never did. It seems like he and his family live here full-time and they literally just walked out the door and left it for the renter, I've never had such a strange and uncomfortable rental experience. Would not recommend. House looks good from the outside but inside is a bunch of strange mismatched furniture and beddings. Backyard has weird painted walls and the owner was excessively uptight worrying that somebody might eat some of the figs off his tree which we had no intention of doing. There's a reason two out of three reviews are horrible, 4.8 out of 10 and only going down with my review. It's pretty obvious the third review of a perfect 10 is clearly not legitimate. Shame on me for not investigating this rental more beforehand, I'm not coming back and hope VRBO and future renters take notice. By the way, I also paid extra for Cleaning and extra for insurance and owner lectured me about how he doesn't get that money and so it doesn't really count anyway or something like that, very strange communication.

Language barrier and crazy oversight
There were multiple issues with the host, from a language barrier, to a super paranoia where they monitor you as you arrive an walk into the house, and then threaten you and accuse you of lying.
For background this was the EASIEST rental in the history of VRBO. I booked a house for 5 teenagers and 3 adults to sleep for 1 night after a long drive. We were in the house for 10 hours to sleep, get up and leave.
The host does not have clear directions (typos, grammar issues, it’s clear English isn’t their first language) the host also is extremely paranoid to the point of them on surveillancing you the minute you check in. I literally walked in with one teenager and they accused me of having more people than I booked the reservation for (I booked for 8) and like most households who have a no shoe rule - we assumed they meant just no walking around the house with shoes but they again watched us take 2 steps into the house with shoes on and complained about it (first 5 minutes of just arriving). The host literally wrote to me: "So please to continue your reservation you have to respect rules , and put the exact number. If you want to stay . Thank you I will come if you not change to the correct number and respect the rules"

I respect everyone's evaluations, but if they are based on reality and not on feelings, and if they are based on a foundation or shortcoming in the house, and this evaluation is only personal and does not relate to the house strongly, because the house was wonderful and very beautiful, and everyone evaluates that and no one can deny it, I provide the best service to my guests , but I also try to set clear rules for the safety of my guests and the safety of the house, and they like that committed and beautiful families, but they do not prefer that non-committed and twisted ones, and this is what happened with this guest, he booked for 10 people, then he said we are only 8, (2 adults) and 6 children, I welcomed them with all respect, and not in the way he describes, and he speaks racistly and criticizes my language, but I speak with all respect with everyone, after that they came to the house 4 adults and 8 children, and when they knew that I saw them, they disappeared to the side of the house, and entered the house from the garden, and because I have a bad experience with such people in these bad ways, I told him, please tell me the real number? So what did I do wrong to deserve this? I'll let you decide and welcome everyone to my big beautiful house, hottub and lots of activities to have a great time, thanks.
