This was a fantastic home and terrific hosts. They made everything super easy, had a ton of wonderful touches like s'mores supplies, basics like bread and butter, a super stocked kitchen (we even used some of the herbs and spices), chargers and outlets where you need them, great fire pits, and a wonderful sauna. Combined with great communication and friendly service, plus this wonderful location and stylish home, we had a super time.

For two people, this was perfect! We love to cook, and the kitchen had everything we needed...and high-end everything. We spent most of our time sitting on the outdoor patio loving the view of the water. Spectacular! Also, huge tv in the living room, which we always desire. There is not a lot of storage or closet area for luggage and clothing, so we used the 2nd bedroom for laying out our suitcases. Worked great for us! Host was amazing and extremely responsive.

We are water lovers that found the perfect Mid-Century Modern beachfront property that just needed a little love. Once we completed a renovation, we decided to allow others to share in the the beauty of the Northwest!

Why they chose this property

Easy walk to the Birch Bay State Park and boat ramp, yet just far enough from town to avoid noise and traffic.

What makes this property unique

It’s a 1957 Mid-Century modern that was still owned by the original builder’s family until we purchased it in 2023. We updated it with a high end custom kitchen and bath, among other things, that are all in keeping with the original style.
