One Bedroom "Honeymoon Suite" - Perfect For A Couple - Olive the Lake Cottage #6

1 bedroom with queen Tempur-Pedic bed.
Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, cooktop stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster etc. All dishes, pots, pans and utensils are included.
Barbeque with propane tank for your use.
Free wifi, the cottage is also equipped with a smart TV for streaming etc.
1 bathroom with hot shower and indoor plumbing.
Large screened in porch to enjoy the sunsets.
Very private setting with no other cottages close by. This cottage is set up on a hill on the opposite side of Olive bay.
Private dock for your boat.
Excellent fishing for walleye/pickerel, smallmouth bass and northern pike.
Our area also has great hunting for small game and large game. Please contact us for more information on our packages.
All out cottages here at Olive the Lake are located less than 100 feet from the waterfront. We offer boat rentals, kayak rentals and guided fishing trips with our local guide which has been in the area for more than 40 years. Olive the lake has a total of 5 rental cottage which range for 2 to 3 bedroom cottages, each of the cottages have been newly renovated and all are equipped with Tempur-Pedic mattresses for your comfort.

Very rustic

The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were clean. All the small appliances we needed.. Enjoyed eating dinner and watching the sunset from the front porch. I would suggest more hooks for hanging clothes and towels. Something near the sink in the bathroom to hang a hand towel and maybe some thing behind the main door. The rooms were not mosquitoe proof! We would suggest if you want to put some money into this cabin, stairs would make a definite improvement. Not bad to climb the hill empty-handed but with a cooler or luggage it was very sketchy. My husband and I do not mind a rustic cabin and overall enjoyed a quiet, relaxing week.

The Honeymoon Suite

Just what you need. The shower was great, Marten River PP near by has three nice beaches. Wifi not available at the cottage so we used our hot spot to stream if we wanted to Netflix and chill. Overall nice little place, bring mosquito repellent

Perfect cottage for a couple, beautiful scenery, very cute and rustic

Lovely family owned property. Very friendly, helpful, lovely atmosphere. Great sunroom to enjoy to the views, very cute and rustic cabin. Very comfortable bed. Only suggestion, as the cottage was at the top of a hill, putting in steps/stairs or a rope and posts to help the climb down would've made it much safer at night to walk up and down. Or putting in some outdoor lighting on the hill so you can see where you are walking would've been helpful as well. Also, offering canoes or kayaks for use would've given a little more value for the price of the stay vs. other places we have stayed. Overall, we had a great stay and will be back!
