Santa Monica Beach House

Charming Guest House, fully furnished, newly renovated, one half block from prime Santa Monica Beach. Use our bikes, surfboards, and beach games. Two outside permitted parking spaces included. Ocean views and breezes, lots of light, wood floors, and dutch fireplace.
Owner lives on the property with her very friendly dog. Lots of atmosphere. Private master bedroom with new queen size bed and living room with new twin sized cone daybed with a twin size trundle. Fully equipped kitchen allows for cooking your own meals.
A very friendly spot adjacent to four star hotels, the pier, nightlife, and wonderful nature.

Great location! Street parking was never available, but the beach parking lot is a short walk from the property so it was no trouble. The property was cute and cozy and came with plenty of great amenities. We had a great stay and enjoyed how close we were to the beach and the Santa Monica pier. We also enjoyed our bike ride to Venice beach for dinner. We couldn’t have asked for more!

I would highly recommend staying at this house. I would stay here again if vacationing in Santa Monica. The rooms were clean and the host has all the information you need to know printed out for you. You are close to the beach and the Santa Monica pier. All withing about a 5 to 10 minute walk depending on how fast you walk. You are also within walking distance to the 3rd street promenade and a Trader Joe's at 500 Broadway (although the entrance is on 5th street). I had no problem parking on the street close to the house.

This property is a gem - the perfect cozy spot for us and our two teenage girls to spread out a little bit. Walk right down to the beach/pier/oceanfront bike path or walk up to stores and restaurants. Parking was easy with the provided passes, but we only took our car when leaving Santa Monica. Easy bike ride down to Venice Beach too. Host and accommodations were lovely, had everything we needed, and used the bikes and beach chairs a few times. I hope to be able to stay here again!

The location is fabulous. It’s right by Shutters Hotel, 1/2 block from the beach. Only problems were ants, stairs, front gate, and parking (which was ok if there is a spot at the beach, which there was always during our 3 days there). It’s upstairs with small stairs. There were ants Day 2 and 3, not in the kitchen thank goodness. The front gate did not lock from the outside. Otherwise the location is optimal for us beach goers!

Party of 3 stayed at this property for 3 nights in March 2026. Pros - Unbeatable location, helpful hosts, quick response time, Cons - No ceiling fans. There were wall fans and bedroom had an a/c, but not very helpful if it's peak summer. Lighting could be much better, need (brighter bulbs).Would we stay here again? - we would like to, but with atleast with the lighting situation resolved.
