The property offers close proximity to the beach and can accommodate a large group. It is a property with all the character of an older house. Many things were provided and the host was easily contacted for any questions. We do look forward to returning next summer.

Such a nice place for a group to stay! The host answered all questions promptly and we had no issues. Clean and cozy. We walked down the road to Betterton Beach and back pretty easily for those with typical middle-aged mobility.

The house had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the top floor was a good space for gathering. The downstairs living room could be set up more comfortably with better seating. Also, the kitchen cookware was not all clean although there were plenty of clean dishes and glassware. The house overall has charm but is a bit rundown, okay for a large family gathering. Good yard for kids and front swings were enjoyed.

Family Reunion

We came for our family reunion. We loved the property, which was spacious as well as private. The home gave us plenty of room and was very functional for our family to interact and gather for meals, both inside the home and in the yard for a BBQ. We loved the quiet neighborhood and short distance and easy access to the beach on Chesapeake Bay. The beach was perfect for our young grandkids! We made great memories! Thank you!

The property was a great fit for our large group of 14 people. We had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Everything was as pictured, and the host’s communication was great. The home is a bit quirky and has a lot of charm. There are two kitchens. It’s a short walk from the beach and a drive to local farms/Chestertown.

We had a wonderful time staying here with a group of ten which was easily accommodated. The house is very charming, lots of history and character. Some parts are modernized and other parts were original and it was comfortable to stay in even during a heatwave thanks to AC units in the bedrooms & kitchen and central air on the top floor. The bedroom descriptions are accurate but the photos didn't quite match. However all the beds were comfortable and the house was clean. There was plenty of space for our extended family including young kids and teenagers. The public beach is quite close and was a nice place for everyone to enjoy. It was a holiday weekend so the beach was pretty crowded. The house is private and in a quiet neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the front porch with the porch swing and the screened porch.
