About the host
Hosted by Jon
I graduated from UNCW in 2022 and loved Wilmington so much that I bought my first house there. I grew up fishing, hunting, surfing, hiking, skating, and exploring the outdoors, and the Cape Fear area is the perfect place for all of it. Now I run rental properties in Wilmington and operate a fishing and hunting guide service. I know this city inside and out and love sharing it with guests.
Why they chose this property
Downtown Wilmington is one of the most walkable and vibrant neighborhoods in the city. You're steps from the Riverwalk, Live Oak Pavilion, and some of the best restaurants and bars in the Cape Fear area. The historic district, Bellamy Mansion, and the downtown boat ramp are all within minutes. It has that rare mix of small-town charm and real city energy.
What makes this property unique
This is a newly built corner-lot home with a private 8-foot fenced yard — rare for downtown Wilmington. The backyard has a gas fire pit, charcoal grill, dining patio, and cornhole boards. The driveway fits 4-5 cars and is one of the only downtown rentals spacious enough to park a boat and trailer. Inside, every bedroom has a Smart TV with a beach house vibe, and the living room has a 65-inch flat-screen. We have 520 Mbps wifi and a dedicated workspace for remote workers. Pets are welcome. Our prices include all fees — no surprises at checkout.
