The historic charm of this pioneer home will surely enhance your Manti experience! Built in 1851 with the same rock as the temple, yet fully updated for comfort. Come stay in one of the State's oldest homes! 1 block from the Temple property (2 blocks from the temple). 1 block from the high school, swimming pool & fairgrounds. Great location! Located near Manti Canyon-a great access to Skyline Drive. Manti is ATV friendly so you can leave directly from the cottage on your ATV.

This is a perfect home for honeymoons or anniversaries. Also for larger groups don't forget to check out the Cottage's sister Property: The Manti Manor-an 1871 rock house located just kiddy corner from the cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was as advertised. It was clean and the host was hospitable, even giving us extra historic details about the place. We consider it a privilege to have been able to stay and experience such a relic of history. The host was incredibly accommodating. We were grateful for extra things on site that made our stay more enjoyable. Like portable fans for the master bedroom suite. It doesn’t have AC, like the upstairs bedrooms. The portable fans were a must for us downstairs to help circulate the cool air from upstairs at night. The shower with retro tile…AMAZING! I wish I had water pressure like this at my house! It was the most refreshing after a long day of trails in the Manti-La Sal forest.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Manti Cottage. It was full of interesting history and antiques. Every detail has been thoughtfully placed The original artwork throughout the cottage was fantastic. I definately recommend staying here.

It was wonderful! Perfect old cottage—authentic for sure. It was a little dusty and drafty, but it’s super old, which gives it its fun charm! Has tons of beds, cool cave-like shower, and a really nice kitchen :-).

Relaxing stay for a family getaway

The Manti Cottage is a comfy place to stay. Much better than any hotel stay. The history of the place and town is such a wonderful added bonus for this history buff. We can't wait for our next stay!

The Manti Cottage is a quaint historical home with lots of charm and personality. We loved our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for fixing meals and the dining/living room area was comfortable to eat and relax in. The stairs are very steep and the last step coming down has a bit of a slope so be careful! Thank you for a wonderful stay we enjoyed learning about the history of this charming home.

My wife and I live next door with our 7 children. I manage a local bank and love small town Utah! You will too. We were married in the Manti Temple. I direct the Warriers each year in the Mormon Miracle Pageant ( 120 teenage boys:)

Why they chose this property

I loved the history of this home! Built in 1851 it is the oldest house in Manti and one of the oldest in the state. I was drawn to this little place. Our family lived here for one year as we built our new house on the same property.
