Welcome to the sagewood hideaway, situated in a family friendly neighborhood, walking distance from town, and centrally located to redwood parks. This studio is perfect for couples! Fully upgraded and equipped with a full kitchen, queen size bed and full bathroom. A private parking space is a welcome addition to this charming unit. This is the perfect home for exploring redwood forests, beaches, & local culture.
The space
This is a studio on one side of a duplex. Both sides of the c duplex function as vacation rentals in the summer and host traveling professionals in the lower season. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy a meal. This is a perfect unit for a couple’s getaway.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire studio and private parking spot right in front of the unit. Located in an extremely safe neighborhood, walkable to eateries and grocery stores nearby

The studio is well appointed, wonderfully maintained, and the host is delightful and brilliantly helpful. The location is ideal, in a quiet neighborhood but with easy access to all you need -- shopping, restaurants, and roads to the river and to 101. I highly recommend this property for one or two people and will definitely return when I am in the area.

This is one of the best places I have stayed. The value was better than expected. The studio was clean, cozy, and in an awesome location. The host was easy to communicate with and incredibly kind. This will always be my go to place when I visit the area.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here as a base for exploring the Redwood parks. The space was very clean, the neighborhood was quiet, there was a Safeway close by for supplies. Amy was very responsive and gave us tips for things to do and see. The only negative I can say is that the room was very small for 2 people and all of our bags. There was nowhere to put anything. A couple of foldable luggage racks would have been handy. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

I would stay here again for sure. Very clean space, modern/updated everything. Kitchen and bathroom are excellent, and probably the best set of cooking tools, pots/pans etc. No old weird peeling teflon here. Nice stainless pots and pans. The neighborhood is very quiet, lots of families, folks walking dogs. Super close to good coffee, shopping and the main drag. Highly recommend the Eureka market for everything too. I'd love to live in McKinleyville, and when I go back I will stay here. Thank you Amy! Great host.
